hey I am surbhi from delhi ...first time in this forum...as after an year or so...I watched a movie in theatre and that too on the first day of its release...I watched it in wave cinema(rajori)...our hall was quiet empty surprisingly...may be because the ticket rate was high...it cost rs 350 a person.But I was satisfied...the first half was lovely...a kind of freshness was there...it was not like every other love story...comic timing was amazing...the way they fell in love was cute,sweet...the climbing the stairs for temple and the whole scene at the temple and the scene where deepika is in white suit...and he puts the ashes in river...were the only scenes I loved in the second half . What I din't get why so much unrealistic fight...it was really too much...the end was truly disappointing with the fight . It could have had a better end than that .I loved deepika's acting through out... sharukh was great as well...especially comic timing...but for me deepika stole the screen.She looked stunning. Overall a nice movie ...

I loved the movie!!! I have never actually posted here in the movie discussion. but I couldnt stop myself. lol. So I am from Canada and I went for the 2nd show of the evening and it was absolutely packed. People were laughing a lot. It was really really funny. Loved Srk and love love love Deepika. her voice alteration and her accent was bang on. It is very entertaining. It was nothing like golmaal what I was expecting it to be coz I dont want my srk to be doing stupid things and running around in circles like golmaal series. And let me tell u I did not like golmaal bol bachan or any of those movies. But this movie really hits the right spot. Its funny from the start. they get right into it. and then it gets even funnier then very dramatic in between and then a cute love story with action to end. The action scenes were a bit OTT but still they were enjoyable. I think everyone shd go watch it. Its a clean funny movie after a really long time. and to me not knowing the tamil dialogues wasnt a problem as there were subtitles. and u didnt need to know tbh. it was nothing important. From me I would give 4/5. 😛

SRK's acting was breathtakingly pathetic and overdone. Why breathtakingly? 'Cuz it literally suffocated the audience as the movie proceeded at a rather predictable and disengaging pace. The South Indian actors were equally boring and under-prepared for their respective roles (trying to be a li'l nice about the fact that they downright sucked!).

The only saving grace of the entire unappealing clamor was Deepika - in her surprisingly refreshing South Indian avatar of a runaway girl with a heavy Tamil accent. Her parts of the movie were always something to look forward to.
