It's a story of a single mother (widowed), her teen daughter, & their boundless love for each other. "Duniya ka koi bhi jazba hadd se zyada badh jaaye toh nuksaan dene lagta hai. chahe woh mohabbat hi kyun na ho " is the moral of the telefilm. Mother finds love. Now... will the daughter accept the relationship easily or not is the climax of the film.

Loved the direction, acting, & the characters of the film.

You're right. Nadia is a very good actor; better than Mahira & Naveen Waqar.

@desigal.. i completely agree with whatever you said about humsafar.. it was good but definitely over rated..
@eeyoretel... Nadia Jameel 's acting is very natural.. wayy better than Mahira, Naveen or any other current actress...

@NKapoor.. i partially agree with you about Shehr-e-zaat.. the novel was fantastic but the way it was dramatized .. the actual essence was lost..

@bold: 😆😆
acting in behadd by all three leads was awesome.. I have always considered Sajjal Ali (the girl who played the role of daughter) an average actress.. but she was very good in this telefilm

I love Pakistani dramas so much, especially the OST. They are so beautifully written and sung. I'm so glad Pritam found that talent and brought it here, the music there is so soulful and lyrically magnificent.

ZGH, Dastaan, Humsafar, Noorpur Ki Rani, DES, SEZ, and now Kankar...just love these shows!!

😆

It got better pace-wise with the after the girl entered. I think the dialouges were so powerful in the show though, especially when Khirad is holding her baby post-a difficult pregnancy and making those promises to God...I cried.

It's definitely over-rated b/c I always thought Dastaan was far-better in terms of acting and storyline.

Behadd was awesome.

American: The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Suit, Revenge, Once Upon A Time, Castle, New Girl, The Mindy Project, Friends, Community, Parks and Rec, Modern Family, The Daily Show (love Jon Stewart), The Vampire Diaries, Mad Men

British: Downton Abbey, The Paradise, Doctor Who, Sherlock

Indian: Qubool Hai, Diya Aur Baati (it's good when they have those massive showdowns), but I do miss the 26 episodes YRF shows like Rishta, Mahi Way and Kismat...they need to make more of that. Hell, they just need a YRF channel where they make seasonal shows llike Hum TV does.
