The actor's son has bagged a plum role in Khan's next highly anticipated multi-starrer by the Om Shanti Om director

Vivaan Shah just can't stop smiling! Having portrayed a dark character in Vishal Bhardwaj's Saat Khoon Maaf, the son of Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah has been finalised as the fourth man in the Shahrukh Khan-Abhishek Bachchan-Boman Irani starrer, Happy New Year.

The relatively unknown Shah was in for a pleasant surprise when director Farah Khanchose him from more than 100 applicants who auditioned for the role. He was a natural, Farah is known to have said. The movie is set to go on the floors in the first week of September this year, in Dubai. Will Vivaan be able to live up to Farah's expectations? And can he match the charisma of SRK, the fun of Abhishek and the timing of Boman? Only time will tell…
