Besides, to amend their last year's fiasco, the sleeping beauties (Oscars Committee) would send a regional movie to the Oscars this year. Doesn't matter Lootera is better than Barfi! or not.

let us wait and watch it then we can say if the film deserve or not but with bollywood they even dont know which film has the intertational standard then send bard this is acope past from hollywood and want it to get oscar 😆

Films that go to Oscar dont constitue BW, it includes Indian Cinema!

Anyways I disagree with person saying Barfi got less praise than Lootera! It had huge positive feedback during its release... much more than Lootera!

I'm wondering if it is the type of movie that the Oscars would even consider for a nomination? Barfi had these amazing reviews too, but at the end of the day, it didn't fit with the other films that did receive Oscar nominations. Lootera may be a great movie, but is it even worthwhile to send to the Oscars if there are other hindi and regional films that would fare much better?
