Share your Bollywood stories

So after reading K.Sean's post where she mentioned how her grandfather went to the same college as Prithviraj Kapoor...I decided to make this thread

I am sure some of us have stories with connections to bollywood stars like these.

So share them here weather your uncle's niece beings married to a family where their grandma's brothers son had been in the same school as Ranbir Kapoor...or anything more crazier than my example...please share it with us 😃

OR you guys can also share stories if you are related or met any real life characters that are portrayed on screen.

Everyone please don't be judgemental about anything the other person posts...lets keep it a calm and happy thread 😳

So to kick off...I'll say that I am family friends with Major Kuldip Singh Chandpuri who is the person that Sunny Deol played in the movie Border. I have met him twice only but as a child and he was very nice yet had a very stern voice which used to scare me a bit as a child 😆

Also my father lived in the same colony as Sunny Deol's Maasi (aunt) so he has played with bobby and Sunny as a child when they used to visit over there for holidays. Yea my dad never get tired of telling anyone about this story.

Dad had also met Dharmendra and cherishes his meeting with him.

Dad has also met SRK's grandfather from his mother's side who was a great freedom fighter as I heard 😃

Somewhere in the mid-to-late 70s, Kader Khan had visited my uncle's college as a guest judge for their Annual Day. They [the students] were supposed to do a skit or a play of some sort. The group that would impress the jury the most was to win. Turns out that since Kader Khan was the guest of honor, he was asked to take the final decision. He liked my uncle's play and declared them winners. 😊

I've met Madhuri Dixit's sister, Rupa Auntie. I'm still friends with her to this day. My sister learned kathak from her for about a year. Then she moved to Cali. My mom has also met Madhuri's mother before during my sister's annual Kathak performance.

Parineeti studied in the same school as me. Only interacted with her once

@pari really?? That's so cool which reminds me I had been friends with Cristy Chopra who is Priyanka Chopra's cousin (as in their Dad's are brothers) me and Cristy were in the same class and she showed me many snaps of PC and hers

Never stayed in touch with her much after I moved to Canada

Also I think PC came to our school once too but that was back in 2003

I've met quite a few celebs that includes khans n kapoors ---/ @ In facts some of these high profile celebs - n singers like Shaan n sonu nigam --have performed in some of the weddings in our community --/@ Of all, I found Naseeruddin shah to be very humble and down to earth guy --@ -

I went to see a play by him performed here by him, his wife Ratna and his daughter (from first wife)

He was so nice and humble 😊 my parents were fangirling over him like anything 😆

He even complimented me on my name saying its beautiful...I'll always remember it 😳
