The topic asks, is Ranbir "really a star", and you guys are posting box-office, figures, talking about 100 crores movies, and what not. That doesn't answer the question.

Even Ajay Devgan has 100 crore movies, but he is in NO WAY A big start. Wasn't Bol Bachahan 100 crore movie too? So that means Abhishek is a big star too?

100-crore movies are nice but they don't mean anything. We are talking about fan-following. I don't think Ranbir has the kind of legendary fan following that the three khans have.

Ofcourse he is! I would even say that he's a superstar giving the mindblowing opening the film got 😃

Lol of course he is over-hyped he is average looking...he acts well so what?? there are many who act as well as him. He isn't really that great according to me..

Amitabh is still irreplaceable and so will the Khans be, but success comes with an expiry date. It happened to many superstars earlier and will happen to Khans too. They replaced someone and now they will be replaced too but BW will always thrive.

Agree with u completely...BW can't be doomed in the absence of Khans... BW existed before Khans and will strive after Khans too...Yes Khan era will remain as a legend in the Bolly history...

Oh come on, is that even a question to ask? Of course he is! He was already a superstar before YJHD.. YJHD just confirmed it.

People who're talking about the Khans here, they've enjoyed stardom and will always be remembered for that. The Kapoors however have actually always ruled the industry more than the Khans, they've been here way longer and the next generation has so many promising Kapoors. Ranbir Kapoor, the young superstar, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and the list goes on. We've only got one Khan: Imran Khan.. but to be honest I don't see him reaching the top.
