When the whole industry has your back and comes to your support, you know you've done something right. It almost never happens with actresses. Saif was so close to getting blacklisted and Sanjay threatened to beat the shit out of him in print from what I've read. He wasn't a good husband or a father. Respect to Amrita. Nothing like a strong woman.

Aren't we judging Saif a little too harshly in this thread?!
He was obviously wrong then, but today things are a lot different. People do change with time. He may not be the best father in the world, but from his interviews it does look like he cares about his kids.

This forum judges everyone harshly. All celebs, no one is exempt.
And also, the article is completely a one sided account so people will judge based on that.
It's all about perception. For instance if instead of this, perhaps Saif's PR at the time had released a statement and articles through his perspective, judgement wouldn't be as harsh.
It's how something is written that makes all the difference. Very few have read both accounts, perhaps only fans.
The point is, you can't call a man a jerk today for something that happened a decade ago. He was a jerk. There's no doubt about it and he must have made mistakes a plenty. Amrita seems like a strong woman. No doubt he speaks of her with do much respect and still takes her name when describing his journey and who truly supported him.
This whole "a leopard can't change it's spots" philosophy is very judgmental and one dimensional. A very cynical view of people. I think people are products of their setting. They CAN learn from mistakes, they CAN change through experiences. Not all will, but you CAN.
Until the day he cheats on Kareena I will continue to think well of him.
As long as his kids continue to be seen with him and he continues to mentions them and it seems that he is making amends, I'll think we'll of him.
I'd rather judge him for who he is today than what he was a decade ago.

Actually when the whole industry supports one person, PR can be thrown out of the window.
Ms Kapoor better watch out. Its all hunky dory right now, but the day the first wrinkle hits or she puts on an extra 20 pounds Saifu will be on his way to Italy.😆😆
