Before there was Google, there was Yahoo. 😆 Just because Google had not become ubiquitous in 2003-2004 (though I think it was starting to) doesn't mean people didn't search the web.

Web Search was already a part of urban life. There was no wikipedia, but there were other sites and sources. I found out about Bollywood's various stars during that period through the web.

As for Sharmila Tagore, I concur with desigal and BullsEye. I remember the family supported Amrita and were not for the divorce, but there was little they could do.

not directly related but i don't like sharmila! seems manipulative and fake- her rules change according to situations. Fine no one is all saint these days but then the way she projects herself seems that way where as she is far from that! i feel she should have been more supportive towards amrita and especially her grand children!
