Bombay Talkies Is A Flop

Bombay Talkies is a flop as it collected around 3.75 crore nett over its first weekend. The film started at a little over 1 crore nett on Friday and then had a 25% jump on Saturday while Sunday collections remained similar to Saturday. The weekend business is so low that even if weekdays do steady business it is irrelevant to the overall outcome.

(The film is unlikely to even recover the money spent on print and advertising from theatrical business in India. )

Someone said in this forum as Bad Example like Salman Khan should not be featured in this movie's Title Song... Look at the fate of Future of Indian Cinema...

A Shame on those FilmMakers who thought that only their vision is the only cinema... while public clearly shows the door to them..... Ghantey ka tribute 🤣

Not shocked at all by the BO verdict.Films with multiple stories bomb at the Box office .The promos didn't look promising either so its supposed to be a flop anyway

Wasn't it supposed to be flop? Movies with multiple stories never succeed. It wouldn't have made any difference if SK showed his face for 10 seconds in the title song ! 😆

seemed a flop from it promotions!!! such films dunt wrk much unless the budget is very low

Luck by chance had similar starcast bt didnt fare well

mayb the film is well made bt ofcourse wasnt made keeping public interest in mind!!!

yahaan pe sab opportunistic log hain...behti Ganga mein haath dho lete hain... aur ap bhi un sab mein included hain...aap bhi kuch kam nahi hai 😆

Aur us time ki bashing...made a little sense...but this time, the logic that had Salman been in the song it would have been a hit doesn't even make little sense 😆
