Bhawana Somaaya ?@BhawanaSomaaya3 May

His meeting with his idol is wow. The song in the end travels idols over decades. Watch #BombayTalkies such moments come once in 100 years !

Audience didn't came for once also... & will won't come in 100 years 😆

A film like this is not made for the masses! These days the films which HAVE a sensible story line, work only among the 'intellectual' masses. This films was not made to collect Hundred Crores, it was made as a tribute to the Indian Cinema in it's centenary year!
As far as I've heard, it has good bunch of four stories and stellar performances. For me, this is a win-win situation.
This film has nothing to do with Salman or SRK. Don't get these two in here.

The movie was made to commemorate 100 years of India cinema and was made with a very limited budget ,yes the ovie started out very slow however the reviews are pretty decent and its picked up over the weekend .

the movie has still not released internationally so it should do well

3.5 cr in 3 days... it was not even liked by "Intellectual Masses" who earlier have given all 4 filmmakers films some decent BO numbers... here plain washout from all over... No Classes, well Masses ke liye toh thi nahi.

I'd say it rather happened, coz it was not promoted well. But like I said, I've heard from a lot of people that it made for a good watch. This one is recommended. The performances were all great. It will sure pick up soon.

Several reasons behind this debacle -
1. Lack Of Promotion - this film didnt have any promotion as such and half of people didn't know about it
2. Restricted to only Multiplexes - I had read somewhere that the film was not screened at single screens and was restricted only to multiplexes, so maybe this might be the reason!
3. It didn't at all seemed as 100 years of Indian Cinema celebration! No Hupe, Ni sparks, everything was dull - from trailers to that title song!

<Even if Salman would have been there in the film, there wouldn't have been any difference in BO Collections!>

The reason for such low turnover is coz these filmmakers made film on their vision, as what they like in cinema, while it was tribute to 100 yrs of Cinema, i would keep aside all the commercial films n stars... but is this the kind of film u wanna celebrate on 100 yrs of cinema?? So jaaye banda film dekhte dekhte

but according to me you need to promote your movie, give it an appeal and have good promos to make it a hit...and this movie lacked it all...it isnt about the stars...

I am not his fan nor his hater, but what I predict his future in film career will not be good, if he choices scripts like these, also PS will...
