I Me Aur Main And The Attacks Of 26/11 First Day Business

I Me Aur Main and The Attacks Of 26/11 both collected poorly on day one and collections for both films were in the 1.50 crore nett range as per early estimates.

I Me Aur Main was better in places like Delhi/UP and East Punjab while The Attacks Of 26/11 was better the circuits in which Maharashtra fell into like CP Berar and Nizam.

The Delhi/UP contribution was around 30 lakhs for I Me Aur Main with The Attacks Of 26/11 being just 20 lakhs while CP Berar it was the other way around with The Attacks of 26/11 being 12 lakhs and I Me Aur Main just 6 lakhs. As the openings are so low there is very little chance for both films at the box office.

I Me Aur Main & The Attacks of 26/11 First Day Collection.

Both I Me Aur Main and The Attacks of 26/11 has performed poorly at the box office on Opening Day. Both films registered shocking occupancy on Friday which has sent shock waves across the industry. Both I Me Aur Main and The Attacks of 26/11 has collected around 1.5-1.75 crore nett on Friday. Because of extreme poor performance of the films many shows are cancelled in places.

I Me Aur Main has performed little better in Delhi, UP and Gurgaon belt. Whereas The Attacks of 26/11 has performed well in Mumbai and C.P. Berar circuits.

Both films have literally no chance woth such poor start. It will need miraculous jump on Saturday and Sunday to have some decent collecti

I Me Aur Main Saturday Box Office Collection

I Me Aur Main has collected in the same range as on Friday on Saturday at the box office. IMM Saturday collection is around 1.7 crore nett. IMM total collection after two days is around 3.25 crore nett.

IMM needed a good jump on Saturday after a slow start on Opening day at the box office. But didn't show any such. In fact in few places drops are registered. In major metro centers around a 10% of jump is registered. Overall IMM performance is poor till now. Hope Sunday registers a good (miraculous) jump so that the film escape from a debacle.

Collection Breakup -

Friday - 1.55 cr nett.

Saturday - 1.7 cr nett.

Total - 3.25 cr nett.

I Me Aur Main First Weekend Box Office Collection

I Me Aur Main had an absolutely poor opening weekend at the box office. It collected around 5.5 crore nett in its first weekend as per estimates. Film started poorly on Friday and hardly show good jump on Saturday and Sunday.

IMM will have big difficulty in recovering its amount as its box office performance is extremely poor. Even recovering with non-theatrical revenue will be difficult. Film needed around 30+ crore nett mark to reach safety which looks improbable now. IMM is trending towards 12-13 crore nett mark in its lifetime which is extremely below par of expectations. Considering a John Abraham starrer it is more shocking as he has some kind of fan following and face value in India.

Collection Breakup -

Friday - 1.55 cr nett.

Saturday - 1.7 cr nett.
Sunday - 2.25 cr nett.

Total - 5.5 cr nett.

It was nice breezy film, comedy and selfishness in blend, more than romantic angle...since we get the answer 'I love me too' after 'I love you' 😆
Such a selfcentered jerk, who will leave prachi midnight if she refuses for one night stand with with her,( Ek lagane ka mann karta hai, 😆)
But John plays it easily, comedy aint new to him he's good at it, and can play charming coz he is :D

Chitrangada was good as modern working girl, much in love with lost case...and so was Prachi, cute, confident and understanding...both had good chemistry with John

i actually had to gather thoughts what they wanted to show in the ending...but I loved it, Ishaan playing with cute daughter taking care of her even though Anushka rejects him, and being happy in their own space rather than fighting for whole time' and Ishaan with gauri as they loved each other

I find direction week as even the most impactful scenes didnt seem so...
It wasnt Wow what a movie, I can watch it whenever I will be able to on tv :)

I Me Aur Main Monday Collection

I Me Aur Main poor run at the box office continues on Monday also. I Me Aur Main has collected around 85 lakh nett on Monday. Its four day total collection now stands at around 6.5 crore nett mark. IMM registered a drop of around 62% on Monday from Sunday. Drop is big and more worrying as Sunday collections were poor.

IMM has performed shockingly till now despite being a John Abraham starrer. IMM first week collection is now heading for 8.5 crore nett. As far as lifetime collections are considered it will just touch 10 crore nett mark. Even if some kind of miracle happens lifetime collections are not going to be more than 12-13 crore nett mark.

Collection Breakup -

Friday - 1.55 crore nett.

Saturday - 1.8 crore nett.
Sunday - 2.25 crore nett.
Monday - 0.85 crore nett.

Total - 6.45 crore nett.
