Rajeev Khandelwal gave a HIT , Critical acclaimed movie name AAMIR yet he didn't get offers after that movie ... he was a Much more powerful and Big Actor than sushant on TV ... Good looking with Great Screen Presence and YES much more talented

He's a good actor. But I don't find him anything more than ordinary. Don't know why the hype.

I am the first one to support outsiders in BW. But then Sushant's story is too good to be true. Ayushman is a recent example of an outsider to make a mark in BW. But whatever films Ayushman got...he got AFTER VD was released. Like him or not it looks like he is bagging his projects on the basis of his work and the reception it got from the audience. While Sushant might be very good in his debut...might have shown lot of promise too...but everyone in BW falling over themselves to cast himeven before his film released looks unreal. At the rate he is going in two years he would have achieved whatever is there to achieve in BW. He already has every biggie covered-SLB, Imtiaz, Adi Chopra, UTV.

I have been following BW news for a long time. HR had one of the best debuts ever...but no one bothered about him eventhough he was an industry kid till his film released. It was only AFTER its released he had big directors queuing up to sign him up. The film industry only worships the people who can generate money and Sushant is yet to prove his credentials there. Hence the interest of BW types in him looks fishy IMO.

There are always people who throw stones on those who are on path to success. So all the stones, dung and filth are welcome, but seriously is all the cynicism justified? More than half of you have not even watched Kai Po Che!

Sushant has groomed himself in one and half years since he left Pavitra Rishta to be where he has reached. I have followed his work in Pavitra Rishta and liked him there, so I had a level of expectations. But then he exceeded them and bowled me over to be able to confidently defend him here.

All critics have praised Sushant in Kai Po Che...Rajeev Masand, Subhash K Jha and some others have already called him a star in making. Even in video public reviews and on twitter, audience cannot stop gushing about him. You improve in any profession if you are determined to grow...and Sushant has always been hardworking and ambitious.

Also the culture of casting directors is growing in Bollywood. It was Mukesh Chhabra who brought Ishaan, Govind and Omi to life by casting Sushant, Rajkumar and Amit in those roles. Incidentally, the casting director of Peekay is Chhabra as well. Yashraj too has its own casting director Shanoo Sharma who has been bringing in newcomers in their films. (Nothing has been confirmed about Imtiaz Ali's film...Sushant too refused to comment on it in a press conference) It is a great period to counter nepotism in the industry. We have problem when things are routine, we have problem even when there is a change. The cynical us...bah!

The argument regarding why Sushant is being cast in all such big films is futile if you have not watched KPC. What is the point of the debate if one side argues that he has a mesmerizing screen presence in the film, while the other half just keeps on harping on how ordinary he was in Pavitra Rishta. We should all at least be on the same page for a worthwhile debate.

It is a request...if you can waste your precious time on speculating why he is getting all these roles then waste a little more to watch Kai Po Che. It is a good film even if you do not like Sushant. Even then if you do not like him, then the argument is justified.

Regarding the film with Priyanka, I hope Sushant waits and chooses better films. Although I do not know anything about the script, it will definitely be more of a Priyanka film. Sushant already has some films in hand, so he has the liberty to wait and make the right choices. But yes if the role is strong then why not? From now on his career depends on the choices he makes.

but i dunt necessarily agree with tht...

Ranbir's debut was a disaster at the BO but he bagged offers from Yash raj and Dharma straight away...sure hes an industry kid so tht helps..but i dunt think all the directors think "BO is the priority" ...someone like sajid khan, yeh sure...but someone like raju hirani, imtiaz or SLB?? (SLB bahaos crores and crores in a minute and his many flops didnt seem to deter him from spending more...imtiaz too seems to make the films he writes, and not necessarily to reach a bo goal...same with raju hirani) ...they seem least concerned abt the money to be honest...so it actually seems pretty legit tht they would sign sushant...as for yash raj...they have actually launched and encouraged quite a lot of new talent (directors, actors and technicians...they r even doing it down the south now) so its not a surprise there either...

i think its just an indication tht times have changed...
