I'm begging the Hindi Film Industry.
SPARE US from the atrocious sequels they are churning out at a rate faster than we can digest.
To me it seems like hese sequels are easy fast ways to make money off of a franchise with MINIMAL effort put into script or originality. I mean you have to notice that a franchise automatically gets a strong opening.
In just the past few years, we've suffered the following -
Golmaal Returns
Don 2
Race 2
Dabanng 2
Dhoom 2
Jannat 2
Raaz 2
Houseful 2
Not just that, but most of the time, the sequels have little or nothing to do with the original films.
Golmaal Returns for instance, had completely different characters than the first one.

Same with the third, though it was better than the second.
The only film which gave a strong a sequel as its original was the Munna Bhai series.
And I heard Murder 2 was also pretty good.
