The government is to blame for whatever it is doing. But Kamal Haasan's statement is uncalled for. What's this I'll leave the country commentary?

For a set of stupid politicians he'll threaten to leave the country?!

He could have resolved to fight the crap while reiterating faith in the country's Constitution and its people.

I am disappointed at such an impulsive remark from a personality of his age and stature.

Country is above anyone else, any politician, anyone's personal interest. We're born out of the country! We need it. It doesn't need us. Jisne rehna hai rahe, jisne jaana hai jaaye! Instead of fighting some specific troublemaking elements, a person threatens to leave the country...wah! How are people like Kamal Haasan different from routine Indians who leave India thinking it has nothing for them? How's he different from those who contribute to brain drain? People like him are needed to fight the system, lead a change, not just become symbolic of cynicism and threaten to leave the country!

You guys keep saying you'll leave or actually leave and let the country rot at hands of crass politicians?

I understand all his probable losses and frustrations he is going through as an artiste. But he is also a very influential Indian and being in his position why is he straight away talking of leaving the country or ditching it for a few politicians' nonsense?

When people like him react this way, others who are also frustrated with some crass elements in the country get carried away and make such remarks, like yeah this country's no longer worth living in etc. This mentality won't make things work. It'll worsen them.

Maybe I am touchy about matters related to "country". But I feel careless comments from anyone about country are uncalled for. Those who ask or expect anyone to leave the country are also wrong. Those who threaten to leave the country on account of frustrations caused by a handful of politicians are also not right.

Everyone has the right to live here or leave from here of his/her own free will. But what's this threatening?

People have no problems as long as they keep gaining from the country. But threaten to leave it or cry foul at trouble caused by some silly elements which do not even represent the whole country!

India needs to ban all these religious fanatics, whether Hindu, Muslim or Christian.
