Shahrukh doesn't have any kind of family support...
Look at the other stars, they have parents, brothers, some kind of a backup. But Shahrukh doesn't have a single relation except for his sister Shehnaz who lives with us. The couple of relatives he has are either in Pakistan or London. He has friends but nothing can really substitute a family. He always feels very lonely. He is so self-made, it's amazing.

Omg..Gauri sounds absolutely adorable in that interview..her response to Sharukh's sense of humour was hilarious..i can so imagine Sharukh doing all that she mentioned..btw, i din know Gauri was a dancer😕 and am so glad she said she is close to kajol😆

Plenty of times. When we got married and my family didn't know him well enough, he would crack weird jokes and embarrass my poor parents. Like he called my mother 'sexy' the first time he met her. My mother got the shock of her life. Today it's two years since my mother has been protesting, telling him to call her ma, mama, anything but sexy, but he insists on calling her 'sexy'.

My ma knows him by now. But when it's someone like Deanne's model friends with whom we're just acquainted then it becomes awkward. Like when he met Madhu Sapre for the first time. Shahrukh was barely introduced to her and he quipped, 'Hi Madhu. Madhu Sapre kam kapre (Madhu Sapre, not many clothes).' I almost just died of embaraassment. Recently we'd gone for this party and behind the backs of some guests, he would imitate their walk, their talk, etc. Oh, his mimicry was perfect but it wasn't the right place to do it!

Millions of times I've forwarned him about what to say. But once we reach the place, he embarrasses my by my instructions, repeating it word for word.

The pressure showed on Shah Rukh. I clearly remember what he had told me in his first interview after he came to Bombay. "I don't know what is right or wrong," he said in the Stardust September 1991 issue. "I don't know if I will be more miserable if I leave people I love for my work or if I leave my work for them. I want to act. This is the only way of life I know' They must understand' Please, if you love me, stay with me. If you go away it will hurt me, but I can't turn around and say please stay. I've learnt to live alone' I can't be how I used to be. The interview in Page 9 was very interesting. Gauri is a very frank lady and hence you never see her slip between the first two interviews given 20 years ago and the last one given ten years ago. She basically says the same things but only sounds more mature and at peace.
All the stuff she says about reactions to HR's stardom and criticism of SRK has returned now again.
Then what she says about PBDHH's failure. I think that sums up why SRK says nice things about cinema but never follows up with good work. He would rather stick to the commercial format no matter what.
Almost everything she said about KJo, SRK applies even today. But even then she was confident that SRK would never cheat on her. Now I wish she gives another interview and her take on PC.

The reason why people are putting you down is because they're fed up with your success. Also, there are people who are just waiting for that little slip and are ready to attack. But ultimately, your fate and your future cannot be determined by the press. Who is the press? They create you, they make you, they praise you. But by their praising or criticising you, nothing can be changed. People read and forget. Your future is based on your films and your work. People who are writing all this are non-achievers compared to Shahrukh. I have seen 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' and yes I liked it... Hrithik Roshan was very good. We know Hrithik, his girlfriend Sussanne Khan and their families personally. This whole comparison factor is so stupid.

ksh, Gauri gave a new interview about 2-3 months ago to Notch magazine. She doesn't specifically talk about cheating or anything but she still seems pretty happy with SRK. Gauri doesn't seem like a woman who would lie or care about what the world thinks. THis is the same woman who said on Koffee with Karan that if SRK wanted to be with someone else, she has too much pride to stay with him and that would pray that she finds someone too.

Btw does anyone know who is Chikki Gauri keeps mentioning?
