Well, for its worth she'll be the one from her "contemporaries" who's worked with the great Yash Chopra!

But in general, her career is pretty stable, only more solidified by JTHJ. She is working with HR, Aamir.. and they are most likely to be hits.

So, if JTHJ wasnt what Cocktail was to DPad, it wasnt a deal breaker either

No one expects Katrina to win awards for acting. A movie directed by Yash Chopra is a BIG achievement for a heroine. It means she is at her pinacle both in terms of beauty and success. Recently PC also acknowledged that a heroine's resume is incomplete without a Yash Chopra film. And the truth is among her contemporaries only Katrina has this achievement. So yes Katrina did benefit. There is nothing more really for Kat to achieve in BW...only ensure she remains on the top as long as possible.

I agree shes as LUCK..but when people will look back they wont remember her as an actress but just someone who was lucky!! lucky to gave gotten the right connections, lucky to have an actor who stood by her, with her its about LUCK !! But i guess her being snubbed not nominated at acting awards equals things out!!

I guess but this movie was pure bakwaas . W*F a brown civilian diffusing a bomb that is not realistic

Among her rivals Bebo and Vidya are set in terms of career and life. PC has a singing career to fall back on

I think Kat is on a decline I feel . With the Sonakshis Dpads Parineetis climbing up it is only a matter of time

Okay, serious answer:

I remember Katrina saying in many interviews that for her, being part of a Yash Chopra film was the ultimate acceptance that she, as an outsider, could get in Bollywood. For her, it means that she belongs here. But that's really the only positive she will take from the film.

As an actress, this film did not establish her...and truthfully, if even Yash Chopra could not get her to emote, then I don't think there's any hope for her as an actress. I mean, all JTHJ did was prove she cannot emote with her face or eyes, even if her life depended on it. There's a difference between subdued acting and non-acting. For Katrina, it's mostly one and the same. It's a hit, but then all of Katrina's films are. Nothing big there. Chemistry...some loved it, others hated it...I mean, some articles and all tried to lead us to believe that we're staring at another SRK-Kajol! Gimme a break! 🤣 But anyways, I guess there's many downfalls.

Personally I felt like the film lost a lot with her in it. Definitely another actress could have made up for the weaknesses in the story.

Yeah...true she has been lucky to get the right person to back her. But I think 20 years from now no one will remember all this. Think today of female stars like Hema Malini, Zeenat Aman. How many of us have a clue about how they struggled to make it to the top? We only remember what they did as top actresses. Like Zeenat is remembered for her sexy image, hit jodi with Big B, Chura liya, Laila O laila song, shocking clothes in Satyam Shivam Sundaram. But along side this she also had an affair with married Sanjay Khan, got beaten up by him and his wife, then married a cricketer and was abused by him too, got divorced etc etc. Once out of the limelight no one cares for what happens behind the scenes.
Katrina IMO will be remembered for her very successful song and dance sequences. Pretty much like Helen still continues to be emulated. And she will get credit as the last Yash Chopra heroine too. No one will remember how she reached the top or what she did behind the scenes to stay there.

Yeah...she will be remembered for her affairs esp with Salman. More so if she marries someone in the industry or chooses to stay behind in Mumbai and remain connected to BW.
