Salman Khan's Phenomenon is HIMSELF Salman Khan !! Thatzz What I can say . Shakesphere said " What is in NAME ? " But Here SALMAN KHAN name is Enough . Woh kehte hai naa naam hi kaafi hai 😉 . But In all this We can't deny this Fact that He truly is a Hard Working Actor and a Fighter as well who didn't lost his confidence and worked hard hard and hard and Today He had taken everyone by surprise , The Stardom which he had from 23 yrs can't be overtaken by anyone NOONE 👏👏. Proud to be SK Fan 😃

@Skepblun - Wonderfully said. I must say it was a pleasure reading a mature perspective on Salman Khan.

I think beyond the repetitive masala flicks and box office numbers, one has to look at his career graph. He was noticed in Maine Pyar Kiya as the ultimate chocolate boy. He then did Baaghi, which again fighting for his love, similar yet treated very differently. Both of these films had amazing sound tracks that contributed a lot to the success of the film. Early 90s still had Music as a major contributor. Audiences did go watch a film just based on great music score. Several films followed such as Sanam Bewafaa, Pathhar ke Phool, Kurbaan, Love, and Saajan. All Masala flicks, yet his characters had different shades. Then comes Suryavanshi. As strange as it may sound, I actually loved the film. It was something different from the norm. He then did a movie called Chandramukhi, again was different, mostly appealed children. These films didn't work, but it is unfair to say that he never tried to step out of his comfort zone, which most stars dont. Then came Andaz Apna Apna, again a FLOP at the time, probably due to the era that it was released in, but the importance was given only years after. HAHK came as a blessing for Salman Khan. A movie made for the families. A friendly, outgoing Prem then returned as Karan of Karan Arjun and Ajay of Veergati. This was a total transformation for Salman Khan. He then did Khamoshi, which again was an exceptional movie. The movie belonged to Nana Patekar, Seema Biswas, and Manisha. He was overshadowed, but needless to say he did explore into different cinema. Then came the long chain of comedy films. From Judwaa to Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge. I could say this was probably the lowest phase for him. He did films for friends and he didnt explore other areas, which he has done in the past. The HOT Salman Khan came in limelight for his looks in Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya. Oh Oh Jane Jana became a sensation. During this phase, he did do a few memorable films like HSSH and Baghban. Playing Aman, a secondary character to the main lead in KKHH was probably not easy for him, but as a friend he did it. Same goes for HTHS. He reminds me of Shashi Kapoor. Mr. Kapoor always played the second fiddle to Amitabh Bachan, yet he was the senior. In 2003, he did Tere Naam, which brought out another side of him on screen. He did a movie called Phir Milenge, which was an awareness film on AIDS. He played a Military Office as a Sardar in Heroes. He did a periodic film such as Veer. However, amidst all of this he rediscovered himself. He brought in heroism, which did wonders for him. Why should he not taste success when he is getting it with these movies? He saw failures in his life and he doesn't want to be there anymore. I do not blame him. In addition, I am satisfied that the money he is partially earning is somehow helping the poor and the ones who are in need. I read many times Being Human is a publicity stunt because it is much talked about in media and by Salman Khan himself. I would like to emphasize that if they do not publicize their brand how will people buy t-shirts, watches,or whatever they may have? That is the money that will go in charity. It is easy to say that its being done for publicity, but lets look at the point that it is helping someone. He doesnt need to do this for stardom, other stars dont beside the occasional charities so am sure he is no different. To invest so much time and energy, one must really be wanting to help. He is who he is. People dont like the stuck up Salman Khan, who he always is one in majority of the interviews, but when he is with kids that Salman disappears. Its like he didnt even exist. He is who he is and whether people like him or not he simply doesnt let that impact him or what he does. He is not pretentious and that is why he doesnt do anything to change anyone's perception of him. He doesnt feel the need to change himself to be accepted. He has flaws and he is not perfect, but maybe that is what I liked about him. Sometimes as a fan, I did wish that he hadnt made some of the decisions that he made and maybe was a bit more approachable, but I guess that would contradict what I have said earlier. I know a lot of people watch movies for the brilliance of a story, but I am someone who watches movies to get away from reality of life.
Anyway I should stop here.
