Why has SRK not given any record setting film? - Page 8

I honestly feel Srk is one of the better actors we have in Bollywood. He does ham at times but all that u need is a solid script and a good director.Am not a huge fan of any of the Khans but i do believe that given a chance, Sharukh can perform as well if not better than Aamir. I made the comparison cos Aamir is considered the best actor and a perfectionist. Now the biggest problem with him is his atrocious script sense. I still cant believe he rejected films like 3 idiots and Lagaan. Now which idiot would do that?I have always felt Sharukh is kinda insecure and always feels the need to be reassured and appreciated.And thats one of the primary reasons why he keeps working with his close friends and shies away from working with other talented directors. Now if alone he chooses scripts with sense, plays a character which is age appropriate and the film has the required commercial elements,am sure he can deliver an ATBB.

No one denies his magical Overseas charm n success rate, but if u pitch it as his only best thing, then pity on that superstar who made so many hits, superhits, bb, atbb in india also, but fans can only put overseas plus point.

Now ppl asking about Salman,Aamir not doing great in Overseas, well for Salman bad phase started from 1999 court case, again in 2003, media from 1999-2009 has always been anti-Salman, even now they are but they are proven wrong everytime by fans n people who have always loved Salman from 23 years.

Aamir, what can i say, his BO magic turned after Lagaan huge time, it took him time 2 score big in overseas, which he did with 3 Idiots, 2nd biggest film overseas, which will be No.1 in few months if it does well in other countries...

SRK is Biggest in Overseas till now, But Wait for it, If ETT, BG can come in Top 10, now Dabangg 2 coming in Top 10, soon Salman, Aamir films will overtake SRK in overseas... Der hi sahi but they will...

SRK's maximum Biggest ATBB, BLockBusters are from YRF & KJO Productions, remove them from his career, films hi nahi milenge... both production houses are Favorite in Overseas, one of the strongest reason plus his clean image.

SRK's failure to match Aamir and Salman is due to the fact that he doesn't experiment with different types of roles. Salman formed a new identity in his movies and Aamir focused only on "script-quality" films. SRK, in the meantime, remained in the same romantic hero roles with the same production houses (YRF and Karan Johar).

Notably his one film, Don 2, was successful for him because he played an evil villain type character, rather than the same old romantic hero.

I think if he ever wants to be as successful as Salman and Aamir, he should ditch the Yash Raj and Karan Johar films, and explore more with his roles.

Downfall after RNBDJ means in INDIA, all his big films just scoring HIT Mark, a Decent one, not any record breaking.

MNIK = 92 Cr = HIT

Ra.One = 114 Cr = HIT

Don 2 = 106 Cr = HIT

JTHJ = 104 Cr = HIT

Figures if u take from Other sites also, they are less not Path Breaking.

Also For comparing Screens, JTHJ & DABANGG 2 comparison we never made, i would never make a Romantic Film comparison with a Masala film. Which Aishh. did with Sci-Fi film Ra.One with Ready Rom Com.

Waise bhi comparison last Biggest Film, or film which was suppose to be biggest...

I would ask SRK fans to compare SRK's last 3 films with Salman's Last 3 films in India, Can you say for youself yes this is SRK's performance which he was giving till RNBDJ?
