What do you think is that makes Shahrukh Khan click with the overseas audience so much...Its like no one can touch his popularity overseas?

His choice of films. They're geared towards the NRI's. Just like Masala sells in India, Family-romantic sagas do it for the NRI's.

DDLJ, KKHH, DTPH made him the darling of the NRI's and he always will be.

Honestly its just his charm.

Like my Mama and Mami met him 3 times during his shooting for Swades, and they were just not impressed with Shahrukh. They told me that he smoked like 24/7, that he looked just like an ordinary person, and that no one could even guess that he was a HUGE superstar of India. They didn't have many nice things to say about him. But one positive thing they said about him was that he was very friendly meeting them and just had a very nice personality. He took a picture with them and was just so calm and very sweet to talk to. They met him once on the plane, again at the airport, and 3rd time at a dollar store because his kids wanted to go there. 😆 This was all in Florida or on the way to Florida.

I just think what makes Shahrukh stand out apart from his on screen acting is his charm, simplicity, and personality. He may not be the best looking guy out there (although I think he's quite sexy, hot, cute, etc etc etc) but he has that charm that attracts people of all ages to him. He's a phenomenal actor and you must give him credit for that. He's a self made star. Gotta love the man!

Oh and let me know the guy really knows how to speak and carry off a good speech.

When he needs to be serious, he's serious.

When he can have a little bit of fun, he does exactly that. :)

I know Malays are super crazy about SRK. Like when we went to theatres for Rab ne bana di jodi, these guys were there in hordes and they wouldnt top looking at the screen. Funny things is they dont even understand hindi but will laugh after the indian audiences, lol. I seriously n strongly believe SRK has done some jadu tona on them, coz they watch the same movie 3-4 times 🤪

i remember seeing his chak de india in 3rd wk here in canada, and the theater was packed.

and there was no romance there.

He Has A Huge Impact On Overseas Market.Of Course NRIs Like Him A Lot But It Doesn't Mean That He Has No International Fan.He Is Extremely Popular In North America,Europe,Middle East,Pakistan,BD&Other Muslim Region.

Because He Is Unequal In Acting.He Is A Versatile Actor.He Has The Ability To Make Any Character Real.Though It Is Mad Lover,Spoiled Brat,Chocolate Boy,Comedian,Responsible Son-Father,Well Built Army Officer,Film Star,Caring Husband Or International Don.

His Films Are Not Full Of Cheap Jokes,Unrealistic Stunts.So Peoples Accepted Him As An World Class Actor.

He Was Named As One Of The Most Powerful Man Because Of His Impact On International Fans.When He Came To Bangladesh,I Experienced The Heat.Craze For Him Was No Less Than MJ Craze.

His Versatility Made Him Popular.

^^ he was sitting much closer to Kat before, but then went on stage w/ Anu to perform on a song and then the gap happpend...I guess it was w/o realizing :)
