One of my favorite aspects of the movie is that how Samar brought out the real Meera. A Meera whom she herself didnt know existed.

I know that was a very beautiful aspect. Someone will always come in our live and show us a different aspect of ourselves, which we ourselves didn't know existed.

As they say, there are two sides to a coin. For many ppl that whole thing about deals w/ God was ridiculous, but for others it was understandable. And I think instead of just trashing the movie, we could rather discuss it...there could be a whole healthy debate around it for all we know cuz essentially, this was the turning point of the story. More than justifying, I'm merely presenting that other side to the coin. The characters are not perfect in the movie (and I don't demand them to be either)...I didn't like Samar's arrogance infront of God cuz it contradicts my own beliefs. But, I don't go on trashing the movie/character cuz of it. Gahh, I think I'm tired of talking...hope you understood 😳

I understood 😊

And two side will always be there.

But some find her relationship with God offensive. So how can that be termed as simply trashing?
I personally don't believe that a relationship with God can be that simple and drawn out.

and in that case... the whole movie kinda contradicts Katrina's initial belief, but since elaborating that would be a spoiler, I will can it

I read some anti-jthj posts here, but still didn't get what the fuss is all about. I watched the movie and really liked it. Why are they calling it illogical? Ya there were some minor flaws but it was plausible. But then which movie is foolproof. If we sit and analyse a so-called great film we'll find some or the other blunder. Even the epic romantic movie "Titanic" had some flaws.

As per Katrina being over religious in the film, what is so surprising in it? I have seen many people who are like that(my mom and my best friend being the one). The main idea of the film was that "Instead of having fear of god one should have faith in love".

I get that but im just saying thats the reason the movie is getting flak for . I mean the reason for Meera and Samar being away from each other shouldve been something more than that for the audience to feel somethign for them. We understood the reason why Veer and Zara couldnt be one but in this case that reason wasnt valid enough. Dont get me wrong i liked the because of SRK only but the script was not there.
