Blair left Chuck cause she was finance of Louis.. and it was like she's ditching Louis with Chuck.. She felt like the accident took place cause she was ditching a guy who loves her unconditionally.. so she prayed to god she will get back to Louis if Chuck survives..

Though I am a die hard Chuck-Blair fan n happy they are going to marry.❤️.

so i can't see any similarity.. the reason of the broke up of JTJH is the sillies reason i hv ever heard..

I would like to believe that the twist was based on The End of The Affair because it does not help my memory of Yash Chopra to believe that he would be inspired by a show as awful as Gossip Girl and characters as vile as Chuck and Blair.

(though I agree that Penn Badgley is very pretty and is a brilliant singer. Check out the Jeff Buckley film trailer)
