The only reason why everyone is praising Varun is because he is an industry insider...David Dhawan's son! Everyone from Big B to Farah Khan to Ritesh Deshmukh have worked with David Dhawan...what does it matter to them if they write a few good words about a colleague's son? (Not saying that he would be bad in the film...but there is no reason to jump with joy, just because a couple of industry people have written a few good words!)

Besides the CilemaSnob person, all the other folks are close to Karan..so sadly I can't take their opinions seriously...though AB Sr doesn't always come out in praise of all movies, he's quite fond of Karan also.

Would rather wait for some real reviews from reputable critics...though I'll probably catch this anyways at some point or the other just b/c KJO's superficial candyfloss = guilty pleasure 😆

Siddharth is a rank outsider, so no one is really interested in sucking up to him! If he is good, he will be mildly praised, but if he is bad, he will be skewered over coals!

Regarding Alia, I have a feeling that she is so bad in the film, that despite being Mahesh Bhatt's daughter (who is not exactly the darling of the film industry), no one can think of anything nice to say about her!😆

The only people who will give a genuine opinion on this film and the actors would be the general public and critics (the one's who are not sold out, that is!) Won't believe a single word said by actors and bollywood insiders...there has to be a reason that Karan Johar goes about organzining people's shaadi's and landing up in every damn sangeet and godh-bharai ceremony! The others have to return the goodwill in some way!😆
