Madhubala's death scares me... because she died from a heart defect that I also had. But of course back then, heart surgery was rare. I am so thankful for the advancement of medicine.

Will the biopic also show her death? I expect this movie to be really intense. No matter who the heroine is, I think I am going to look forward to this one. I don't know much about Kishore/Madhubala's life at all.

I only watched one movie of hers with dilip kumar. She died very young

*facepalm* 😲 !!! c'mon now ... katrina as madhubala !!!! hell must have frozen over !!! -__- ... i wonder will their be an item number in this forthcoming movie .. since all.. katrina can do is dance , dance and dance.. !! didn't she wanted to do an item song in raazneeti ?? !! LMAO !!! so not looking forward to this pairing .. where is salman , when you need him !!!

If you put Ranbir in and its directed by Anurag basu, half the battle is already won.

If katrinas BO standing is as good in a year and a halfs time as it is now. 90%

of the battle is already won. that 10 % about kats acting the janta just might

overlook for the sake of the other 90%.

I too would go to see it for Ranbir. he should deliver provided the dude is not

burnt out by then. Raajneet, Rockstar, Barfi. These movies hav come at a very

young age to him and how does one sustain this level of excellence? I mean he

has a good 20 more years hopefully of acting as hero. Will he become a Jack

Nicholson or somethng?

I don't think anything works for Katrina here. She is very beautiful, no doubt. But her beauty has no depth, imo. Like liverach said, Madhubala's face had soul, it had tej. Her eyes speak volumes. Katrina's face, like her eyes, is...blank.

She can't act. I mean, I won't deny that she has a charming screen presence. She worked for me in movies where she was supposed to act OTT like APKGK or natural like ZNMD. These movies didn't require any heavy lifting but she has been a torture to watch every time a character requires her to act.

Uh, her dialogue delivery. The correct casting is very important in biopics because you are showcasing someone's life. You can't just say 'let's just assume Madhubala had an weird foreign accent, why can't you?!'

I don't think they need Katrina for BO when they have Ranbir, I am being serious. The movies whose successes have been credited to Katrina have all opened between 5-8 crores, both Barfi and Rockstar opened better than that. Their hero is enough to put bums on seat.

Madhubala was a joy to watch on screen-ive seen her films and shes amazing,and i dont think any heroine can match up to her persona and the magic she brought on screen...

and of all of them Katrina?seriously
