Going by past history of IF forums and the casting red herrings
posted by 'sources' based info; i think its safer to let the
director producers come up with the confirmation.
I did read Anurag Basus interview saying he and Ranbir
are definitely doing Kishore Kr biopic.
Kats name did not feature.
But it makes sense if Ranbir and her hv been seen together.
and there hv been no new announcements of her having signed
any other stuff than those she did sign 1, 2 years ago.
As for playing Madhubala, wow, Madhubala was considered
the most beautiful heroine and Katrina is that just now. She
was fragile, fair and exquisite. I dont think Anoushka would hv
fit the bill, (no disrespect to her or other heroines), neither
would dusky Deepika. PCs a bit too contemporary and doesnt
hv that fragile quality, Kareena just cant play a Madhubala now,
and she has that hard look besides being RKs cousin and
older to him. Illeana might hv suited inspite of her duskiness,
she has that fragile gazelle like look but she 's already done
Barfi.
Ranbir and Kat were magic in Raajneeti. They really added the
glam and curiosity factor to the political film. And of course
they were the cutest couple in Ajab Prem. Both movies worked
magic at box office. so there seem to be more pros than cons
to her casting. They both obviously hv some sort of 'thing' going
on whether its one sided from Ranbir or two sided. Which might
get translated onscreen naturally.
But the movie will be a feather in both their caps shud it happen.
