Ajay's part: Devgans are hindu brahmans.Ajay is a hindu Punjabi hence the hindu tatto.That is his personal decision.

Movie: Thats a character he is playing.Given the liberty of artistic license n imperfections of BW it can be ignored.

@ Lemony - no yaar Devgans r Sikh Ramghariya ( yes just googled and found out there r Hindu brahmins too who have this surname but there r Sikh Ramghariyas too who use this surname )

chk this ... frm Ajay itself ... @7:40 ... his grandfather was Sardar means he used to wear Pagg ( he took it as being sardar means having a Sardar look means having a Pagg )

Whether anybody likes it or not Hindus, Sikhs, Jains are not too different. They observe most of the Hindu festivals and have no qualms abt doing so. My Sikh friend observes Navratras, goes to Vaishno Devi frequently. So? Big deal! When I feel like getting some charity done, I fill up my trunk with groceries and donate it to the Gurudwara in my area. I know it will be put to good use..for Langar. So, does that change my religion in any way? My MIL visitsthe Gurudwara often. While growing up, I have seen many Sikh families join us in our Hindu temples to celebrate Hindu festivals. The innumerable Hindus who visit the Golden temple everyday have any issues? Nope. My Jain friend celebrates all Hindu festivals. Is she a Jain no more? Bakwaas. We all sprung from the same tree...the tree of Hinduism. We are lil' bit different but our roots are the same.
