Quite silly really. If Hindus start protesting over silly issues, all the Khans would be out of work. Imagine that!

^^ Exactly.
I have grown up going to Golden temple and my Sikh friends would come to other Hindu temples in the area with me.No one had an issue about it.
Its just the authorities who likes to create a rift n get their 2 minutes of fame.
Chandi di vaar based on Mata Bhagwati/Vaishno was written by Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji.

In short Sikhs can never insult Hindus and Hindus can never disrespect Sikhs.

Whether anybody likes it or not Hindus, Sikhs, Jains are not too different. They observe most of the Hindu festivals and have no qualms abt doing so. My Sikh friend observes Navratras, goes to Vaishno Devi frequently. So? Big deal! When I feel like getting some charity done, I fill up my trunk with groceries and donate it to the Gurudwara in my area. I know it will be put to good use..for Langar. So, does that change my religion in any way? My MIL visitsthe Gurudwara often. While growing up, I have seen many Sikh families join us in our Hindu temples to celebrate Hindu festivals. The innumerable Hindus who visit the Golden temple everyday have any issues? Nope. My Jain friend celebrates all Hindu festivals. Is she a Jain no more? Bakwaas. We all sprung from the same tree...the tree of Hinduism. We are lil' bit different but our roots are the same.

Mithi ji...I think that their main grudge is that...if a movie has to show Sikhism..it should depict what the real religion is and not its modified modern version...its like if u have to teach about a religion in school...how u would teach the real original religion and not the mixed up version...I don't think they have any issues with the Hindu God tattoo...but they just don't want the religion to be diluted or mixed up in any way because it will be seen by millions...so maybe they think that correct depiction is necessary...for example...a lot of us didn't know the real story behind the barah baje thing...and so someone put up a u-tube which cleared our misconception...now since we were ignorant...if somebody had given us a different story...we would have believed that too...so I think they just want the religion to be shown in its purest form...i hope i made sense...😛

Yes! That is indeed written by Guru Gobing Singhji. And during prayers, isn't Ram mentioned numerous times too?

one of many examples.

In Punjabi Wordings
Deh Shiva bar mohe-i-hai
shubh karman the kabhu na taroo
Na daroo ar siyoo jab jah laroon
Nischai kar apni jeet koroo
Ar Sikh hao apne hi man ko
Eh lalch hou goon tau uchroo
Jab aav ki audh nidhann banay
Aut he rann me tab joojh maroo

English Translation
Grant me this boon O God
May I never refrain from the righteous acts;
May I fight without fear all foes in life's battles
With confident courage claiming the victory!
May thy glory be grained in my mind,
and my highest ambition be singing thy praises;
When this mortal life comes to end,
May I die fighting with limitless courage

Blue, I'm not gonna add the 'ji'...makes it sound so formal and I've known u long enough. :-))

Maybe they do but it's a Bolly movie, what do they expect? Yeah maybe AD should cover that tattoo. But otherwise, if they want it to be shown in its purest form, they better make one themselves.

Yes, that was the quote I was talking about. Guru Gobind Singh ji has written that too. And guess what tattoo AD sports- Shiva.
