It is certainly not all that easy for actors to perform death-defying stunts to live up to their image as action heroes. While movie buffs enjoy watching their fave actors do dangerous action sequences sans any inhibitions, it is imperative for celebrities to practice rationality while doing justice to their job. And the most coherent decision being opting for stunt doubles to avert mishaps. So when the news of Salman Khan getting a body double made headlines, many weren't disappointed. For, they were aware of the fact that the superstar was suffering from nerve disorder during the shoot. Hence, majority of the action sequences had to be shot using a body double.
But when Akshay Kumar stole the spotlight for jumping from a height of about 45 feet while shooting for an action sequence for "Khiladi 786", his new co-production venture with Himesh Reshammiya, many were left wondering if Salman's decision to get clicked with Jawed El Barni, a French guy who performed stunts for him was sane! Irrespective of the health problems Salman is facing, for fans, he still remains the ultimate action hero, whose ability to thrash goons, jump off towering buildings and safely setting himself on fire, remains unrivalled. And because fans expect Salman to continue with his thrilling performances, it is somewhat hard for them to believe that someone else can surpass Dabangg Khan. But the reality remains Salman's health issues have deterred him from performing complex stunts on his own in "Ek Tha Tiger". Will this prove lucky for Akshay, who is busy garnering immense appreciation for refusing to use a cable and harness for his much talked about stunt?
