Rowdy Rathore Wednesday Collection 7.25 cr nett. Total - 72.55 cr nett. Fantastic

Rowdy Rathore on Tuesday has collected around 7.25 crore nett all India as per early estimates. Rowdy Rathore total collection now stands at 72.55 crore nett after 6 days. Rowdy Rathore first week collection now is heading for 78+ crore nett all India, making it the 6th biggest opener ever for the first week.

Rowdy Rathore is now on its way to be the 12th film to cross 100 crore nett mark and it will be achieved in its second week with ease. It is highly commendable as RR has been released on normal working days and without any major holidays to its credit. It will also face slight challenge from Shanghai this Friday, but RR seems not to be affected much. Mega HIT.

Collection Breakup -

Friday - 15.1 cr nett.

Saturday - 14.5 cr nett.

Sunday - 18.5 cr nett.
Monday - 9.1 cr nett.
Tuesday - 8.1 cr nett.
Wednesday - 7.25 cr nett (Estimates).

Total - 72.55 cr nett.

Rowdy Rathore May Top Shanghai This Week

Rowdy Rathore may turn out to be first choice this week as well despite a major release like Shanghai releasing. It will be interesting to see which film collects better on Friday as Shanghai is not looking at a strong opening.

The weekend should come out on top for Rowdy Rathore as its an accepted film all across India. Shanghai will have to carry strong word of mouth to compete with Rowdy Rathore on Saturday and Sunday especially Sunday when the families will come flocking to see Rowdy Rathore like the Sunday gone by.

Shanghai at best can get a decent response at multiplexes as Rowdy Rathore is playing at the best single screens and the single screen chain that Shanghai is got is not quality single screens and that coupled with its content there will be very limited business at single screens.

Is 'Rowdy Rathore' the next
entrant in the Rs 100 cr-club?
Just four days and Bollywood
actor Akshay Kumar's latest
release has already gathered
over Rs 50 crore at the box-
office.
His last release Housefull 2, which
raked over Rs 100 crore, was
considered to be the actor's
biggest opener ever. But with his
latest release doing magic at the
box-office, Rowdy Rathore takes
away the title.
The movie, which was released
worldwide on June 1, 2012, is
following the charts of Salman
Khan-starrer Dabangg. Like
Rowdy Rathore, the 2010
blockbuster's first weekend
collections also stood at Rs 48
crore. According to experts, if the
latest Bollywood release
continues to maintain the
current momentum, it would
soon join the Rs 100-crore club;
in case of which, Rowdy Rathore
will be Akshay Kumar's second
movie in a row in 2012, to make
that kind of business.
Rowdy Rathore grossed around
Rs 29.80 crore in the first two
days. Made in a budget of Rs 45
crore, the movie has already
recovered its production cost
and gathered around Rs 57.8
crore.
The movie, directed by Prabhu
Deva and co-produced by Sanjay
Leela Bhansali & Ronnie
Screwvala, was released on
about 2,800 screens in India. It
saw occupancy of 95% to 100%
in single screens, while 55% to
70% in multiplexes across the
nation.
Rowdy Rathore is also a second
hit for actress Sonakshi Sinha,
who plays Akshay Kumar's love
interest in the movie.

Hi guys,been away from home lately but am back finally,but OMG didn't expect to read such AWESOME news on my Rowdy Akki's RR,feeling like 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

@Billa,u've done it again after HF2 by predicting RR to score big and enter the 100 crs club👏...

bur i'm extremly HAPPPYYY for my AKKI for both his film doing extra business and @same time he's getting huge appreciation for his performance...so far a golden year for Akshay

Rowdy Rathore Has Second Highest Regular First Week

Rowdy Rathore has collected around 77 crore nett plus in its first week and this makes it the second highest collections ever for a regular Friday-Thursday week behind Dabangg which collected 81 crore nett.

If we take the first seven days for all films then Bodyguard, Ra.One and Agneepath are also ahead as they were released on major holidays and collected huge on these days though the collections of these films are lower than Rowdy Rathore for the Friday- Thursday period.

In terms of first seven days it is the fifth highest collection of all time after Bodyguard, Ra.One, Agneepath and Dabangg.

Rowdy Rathore has set new all time highs for the Friday-Thursday period in CI and Rajasthan.
