But I would like to say, i am fully aware of the current events in these particular places. I never said that Palestine, Afghanistan or Iraq should not double check or take action against who they suspect. Thats their gov't problem. Maybe if they did the extra precautions so many innocent lives would not be taken.

Again i never said "they should double check every muslim just bc they are muslims. I said that they are doing right by doing extra security checks on people they suspect.

This is not about Americans vs. muslims/indians

Ridiculous.. come on he is such a famous personality, he can't be a smuggler. And no it's not only the "Khans", it's everyone who looks a bit Asian/Arabian. I am not against extra security checks but it's just sad how it's always the USA, whenever any of their celebrity comes to India we do show hospitality.

How does SRK even matter? 🤔 He is just another Indian citizen traveling to the US. Besides, there is nothing wrong in the US being cautious. They aren't Indian officials to sleep through the entry of the Kasab!

I agree with AB. I am not saying that SRK is right or wrong or he is complaining. Going through Security checking is different than going through immigration. During Security checking they just check ur bags nd u if they found small scissors told u to take it off and they take all inforamtion about u otherwise not allowed in the aircraft. During immigration they check ur passport visa nd other docs if they found something wrong than u go through detained. I have Friend, she is international students and I am a us citizen every summer we come to india, when we come back to us i pass all immigration bc i have us passport, her last name is Khan nd most of time she had faced detained. there is nothing wrong to be detaied when u know u done nothing wrong, but during that 3-4 hrs u r proving them is that u done nothing wrong is wrong. lLike Amitabh said, "We all have to follow the procedures of every country. Its not jst thm even their(US) common citizen r treated almost like their celebrities !!!! 😆 they r carved by the immigration officer with respect (please sir this way)while we keep waiting in rows for immigration and security check !!!! 😆

Wow BW actors and the Indian Gov't..talk about overreacting. We need the Indian Ambassador to take it up with US authorities..we should detain Obama next time? Hain seriously. 😕 Shahrukh Khan is just an actor, in the U.S for a personal visit..he's not representing the Indian Government, so stop acting like they just insulted India for God's sakes. Just because India CHOOSES to give any B/C-grade actor a red carpet welcome and chooses to be lax about security, doesn't mean the US has to be. We all know EXACTLY why the US is that cautious about security..why you have to go through double, triple checking before boarding a plane that takes for the US...frankly speaking, this security, despite the hassles that come along with it, has avoided another 9/11 i the US and I feel SAFE because of it.

Since its a common occurence with SRK, maybe his name matches someone on their list...so they question him more..it is a hassle and I think he has full rights to get upset about it. But unlike the Newark detainment before MNIK released where SRK clearly milked what happened for publicity for his film, I don't see him making a HUGE deal out of what happened here. He simply made one joke in a speech or am I wrong? Didn't go through all the pages and other news articles.. I see more of an OUTRAGE amongst BW industry, Indian Gov't, and die hard fans ki how DARE they detain SRK.
