I call my cousin who's a good 15 years older than me, by her nickname. I respect her, love her, and appreciate her. And that is not taken away by taking her name.

First of Karisma is 6 years older than her. NOT 9. Second thing, who cares, nobody refers to me as didi as well, beside I find it funny when grown bollywood actors refer to their siblings as didi.. Hrithik for example, calls his sister didi instead of baby elephant 🤢

excuse me?? what if he calls his sister didi?? 80% of the country does what he does! and who is to say a person..who is not even a celebrity cannot be fat!

same here ...and there is no other show right now which gives that Delhite/North India feeling

except ragini i will miss everyone ...specially Inder and Rani , Ilesh, meena

@ maddy - that mall incident was damn funny 😆

i agree. i don't get what would be so embarrassing either? 😕 my younger siblings call me didi and my daughter calls my son "veerji" and she's only 5. it has nothing to do with respect or disrespect, but a personal choice.
my personal feelings are that everyone calls me by my name, but when my siblings call me didi...that indicates a special bond/relationship between us.

That's her choice. She can call her sister hwatever she wants to.

And someone said that he/she would never acknowledge his/her sister's prescence if he/she had a sister like HR's sister🤢That was so degrading. Feel pity for his/her poor sister. Just because your sister has gone through two failed marriages, is fighting obesity n cancer you won't acknowledge her🤢That was so degrading. And whether a person wishes to call his/her sibling as didi/bhaiyya is his personal choice, nothing to look down upon. I have a cousin who is 11 years younger to me and addresses me as Didi. Does that mean she is ganwaar?

Because not all people call big sisters didi. And yes some people dont like to be called didi. May be karishama is one of them. Actresses are age conscious.
