Yash Raj started the trend of incorporating a special song/music video during the end titles of their films and today, every important producer has realized that music videos can prove an added attraction. 'Right Here Right Now' in BLUFFMASTER!, 'Meter Down' in TAXI NO. 9211 and 'Aashiqui Meri' [the remix version] in 36 CHINA TOWN are three chartbusters that only cemented the confidence in music videos.
Now Subhash Ghai and director Sangeet Sivan are planning to shoot a stylish video for their forthcoming flick APNA SAPNA MONEY MONEY. "It'll be one of the highpoints of the film," Sivan confides, adding in the same breath, "We are planning to utilize the cast of the film for the video, not hiring any new actor for it." Since the film is slated for a July-end release, Sivan says that the video will take shape in a few days from now.
Meanwhile, Sivan and Ekta Kapoor have decided to go ahead with the sequel to KYAA KOOL HAI HUM next year, thereby giving a sufficient gap between the first and second installments of the comic caper. In fact, Sivan rubbishes rumors that Ekta and he have parted ways professionally. "We are working on something. The sequel is definitely on the cards, but the second part will have to be a step ahead of the first," he divulges.
What about the star cast? Will it star Tusshar and Ritesh once again? "We'll take a call once the script shapes up to our expectations," he adds.
