Am sooo excited for Yash Chopra's next. Its gona be SO awesome! Oh man! Even though am not a fan of SRK-Kat pair or even SRK-Anushka pair, am reallyyy excited for Katrina & Anushka to work together AND to see Yash Chopra back on screen! I love his films, especially Veer-Zaara! Oh and they are shooting in Paris, so thats even more amazing! AWW SO EXCITED!🥳

Ive always found his films boring! Yup even Veer-Zaara..Too long and so damn boring..I liked the songs only.

Personally, i think he is a very fine director and up until Lamhe, his films always boasted of great quality...but i think his quality started to decline DTPH onwards..he became more convectional and ppl pleasing, rather than being the bold filmmaker he once was...and his films started to become more and more cliche...Veer zaara was better than DTPH but it was still no patch on his previous movies IMHO...

I hope he gets back to giving us gr8 films with his latest directorial venture. I am looking forward to his film...how abt u?

You said Yash Chopra "started to decline DTPH onwards".
The only film he directed after DTPH was Veer Zaara.
But then you say "Veer Zaara was better than DTPH".

i meant his quality went down from DTPH...both DTPH and veer zaara IMO werent a patch on his previous films...

Yeah well, that sorta happens when you age.

I agree with SP. He's not the same director he once was IMV. That's because I personally prefer his Lamhe style of storytelling/directing. With time he's just become more & more metropolitan now. I won't count him out but I don't see him ever reaching that glory.

The recent pile of flops will give idea about its production style and value. Now they want to cash upon YASH CHOPRA name after series of flops under ADITYA CHOPRA (as a producer) name.

Even Adi's RNBDJ was panned critics and rejected by many both in india and overseas.

Yash Raj Flims - YRF is also failing miserably, they haven't delivered a single hit yet.

Thats why YRF is banking upon 3 superstars; Aamir (Dhoom 3), Salman (Ek Tha Tiger) and SRK (Yash Chopra's untitled). But what if even those movies turn out to be craps like RNBDJ, Laaga Chunri or Jhoom Barbaar...

Definitely they will declare BANKRUPT

Yash Chopra and controversy went hand-in-hand in 60's and 70s.His movies were way ahead of time.

Ofcourse age caught up with him but Parampara, DTPH and Veer Zaara were outright boring stuff.

I think he fell for feel good movies catering to NRIs.

I don't think we will see Yash Chopra of Dewar or Itefaq or Waqt or Darr.

I am hoping we won't be seeing another marriage video in his new movie but i am not having high expectations from his movie. I think it maybe another version of Chandni.

I find Yash Chopra overrated as well. MOST of his films are not as great as people make them seem. He always has good songs in his films, that I give him credit for..but the usual lovey dovey stuff in most of his films can get annoying at times..and to think he's one of THE best directors in bollywood? makes it easy to understand why bollywood can never reach the standards of a film industry like hollywood (even though they try to all the time, but epically fail).

his films are copied from hollywood films like all the other bollywood directors do.he just adds better cast, better music and a dash of swiss!😆 walh!
