This is a internet thing. People will hate top guys and cheer for underdogs. It happen in every forum. Go to a wrestling forum people will hate top guys like Cena, HHH and cheer underdogs. Go to a music forum people will hate famous bands and cheer for independent artists. It happen in every forum.

not in celebrity or tv serials section because their you are not allowed to trash a celeb. Plus the reason is some telly stars have accounts here so there is a strict rule as well in celebrity clubs you can't. In music you can critocize but not personally trash the singer. But other you mentioned not sure. Just that each section as their own, and this section gives us some breathing room.

I would have loved to see Xeta's response to this thread. She's always unbiased no matter who is the celeb, what's the thread for or anything. I am sure she would have come up with a great answer.. even if it was a 2 liner only.

As for the topic, I agree with you. BS has changed quite a lot. There is constant negative comments on select celebs while certain celebs get constant poisitive comments only. There aren't too many members left who ll give a netural or unbiased comment. And then, there are folks who are just the cynics or those who are just here for making fun and enjoying making fun - which isn't wrong or anything. Their time on I-F, their wish what they wanna do.

I think its also got to do a lot with the fact that there are certain celebs(keep in mind please, I am talking about popular celebs) who have an overflow of fans who are forever there to defend and also clarify their fav. celebs statements, acts and everything else.. so the topic shifts from neutral comments to positive comments for that star quite a lot of times. While for many, the fans just don't care to defend or clarify, and hence w/ever is happening in the keeps going on. Like in some cases, it maybe the negative comments or posts making fun.

You're quite on track with your topic.. but just you mentioned stars who aren't that popular. Over here, its normally about popular stars.
