well coming to the topic, I didnt go through the all the pages but read some of the posts by smartie and billa...

and I really agree with Smartie regarding the whole ratio about more famous and less famous movie stars...

also, more than half of the IF members does not live in India, so I dont think it really matters whom we like or dislike, neither does the BO is affected nor the gossips posted here makes any difference to the Bollywood !

Why are these celebs dicussed, dissected, analysed, over analysed, scrutinised, over scrutinised here... Simple answer... They are popular... They are stars...

How can someone like Rahul Khanna (RK), Chitrangada(CS) etc be compared to stars like Salman, SRK etc... These stars are in a totally diferent league... Would i watch a RK solo movie in a theatre.. No... Would I watch a CS solo movie in a theatre... No... Would I watch a Salman/SRK solo movie in a theatre... Yes...

Do people, the press, the media even care if RK walks into a night club or a CS walks into a golf course ... Nah...

But look at the frenzy, the craze, the attention these other stars like Salman, SRK, Kat get...

Exactly the same here in the forum too... Do people even care to discuss and dissect if RK is gay... Do people even care to analyse and over analyse if CS 's marriage is/was on the rocks or if she is/was having an affair with her mentor... No...

But we do have pages and pages on Salman and SRK and dissecting every minute detail... Why??? Bcoz they are stars and they are popular and its fun to analyse and overanalyse them...

How many threads do we have on RK or a CS or a Kalki or even Vidya... Thats bcoz no one really cares abt what they do or what they dont do... Does the media or the press even care... If they start digging there's enough dirt in their closets too... Why do they even bother reporting when the public does not bother or if there is no frenzy associated with their names...

RK is drooled over here bcoz he looks dishy... CS is liked bcoz she showed some promise and some talent in the few movies he has done... Same could be with Kalki or a Vidya or a someone else... After that they are just too boring to talk here or to discuss them for pages and pages...

Its more fun to talk abt Salman's escapades with the damsels in distress, SRK's rendezvous with PC, Kat's history and geography, Kareena's randomness, PC's dil getting hurted, Shahid's adarsh statements, DP's confused state of mind, Sonams lessons in upbringing, Ranbir's night outs etc.😆

It's Said from time to time, that Every Celeb is bashed over here, i have never seen VIDYA BALAN getting bashed anywhere 4m time to time[Example].

Y is it that Majority of IF BW Section which likes a Film it doesn't do well @ Box Office, and The Films n Stars bashed daily are doing wonders @ Box Office?

Just wanna discuss y there is favoritism for Some Particular Celebs and Continue Bashing for Some Celebs??

I dont think its a question of why people are like this or like that. It just is. Its human nature to criticize. The more one questions, the more complicated it becomes. Nothing one does can change human nature. Plus a lot of members think that their fav is being bashed all the time hence they do it to others and people like rahul khanna are neutral players in the industry. Its really a war between salman and sharukh fans, kareena and aish fans, etc.. I think someone mentioned about some celebs being the underdogs and i agree with that member. Plus i think almost everyone here have bashed a celeb or two in an effort to defend their fav so its quite pointless to manage a discourse abt it. Personally, i take it as part of humans' two-faced nature and move on. At the end of the day, we are all hypocrites i believe. :)

True😲 also add Akshay he too is very popular here when there are talks the number women that he has slept with.

But let me ask you and others why isn't Aamir picked on that much here? . Hes a top actor and has a scadellous past with a suspected love child. Ya he might be critcized on his movies once a while but thats not the point the point is why not he trashed on his escapades.

Smartie and some brought up that when they do a certain movie thats not well liked He gets criticized but thats not the point. I want to know why we don't discuss on his personal things like with Salman, Akshay, Katrina, etc.

I searched and hardly saw anything on Aamir Is he boring ? whats the deal?

whose crying? 😲😆 Its just annoying when you repeat the same thing over and over again. Once you say it ok, twice you say it still ok, the third time so say it its irritating, and some go beyond that and its simply ignored by that point. would you like that in each post I go on and on on the same issue I am sure you be irritated and at times to be honest I do it on purpose when get annoyed😆😆
