I think in general, people tend to root for the underdogs.

Most of the members dont wanna cheer on the superstars coz they already have drooly fans all over the place.

Also, they are constantly in the news, so there's more opportunity to get criticized.

Wheras, there's hardly anything written or said about Rahul Khanna, Kalki, Chitrangadas, so what will people criticize them with?

Their only exposure is through their acting, which is good.

True, but when these so called great actresses do movieswith top stars they are criticized why are they doing it? what do people expect that they will only do art cinema or well meaning? No they too want commercial success and viability hence why shes doing dezi boyz
