A close friend of mine went through the same thing. Her parents spilt cuz the father was a cheater. After the divorce he would pop up once in a while go on a few "vacations", and thus ppl thought ohh what a great father he is. BUt my friend said its all bullshit and its not the same. She wants her parents around all the time not jus sometimes. The dad seemed to come by shower them with gifts and leave again. From the kids point of view as the grew older they grew distant from their father. Because, he had kids with the new wife and it became to much to handle. REally hope this doesn't happen with saif.

It sucks big time for the kids. Everyones worried about poor kareena, poor saif, poor amirta. Stop and think about the how the kids must feel.

They are to young to participate in a funeral. My mom did not let me be part of my grandfathers funeral because it is to much to handle.

If i were Amirta i would not have gone either. Can u imagine how much humiliation she would have to face afterwards. With all the articles printing "Amrita vs. Kareena". It takes away from the death. One can grief over the phone or in private.

Only the family knows what they are doing we can only assume.

We cant really know all the details of their lives, but from what I gather from saif's itnerviews, he does mention his kids quite a bit.

I think Amrita was right not to attend the funeral, just because she didn't go doesn't mean she didn't care. There are other ways to pay your respect.

Saif and Amrita were also spotted attending various functions together. Yes they ended on a bitter not, but post saif's heart attack in 2007, they had patched up adn become cordial.
