No, here we are not talking about any new movie launch but about the famous Mughlai delicacy serving restaurant Shiesha which started off in Bandra and has now launched their branch at Huma Mall, Kanjurmarg which is closer to Powai as well.

Spread across a sprawling area of more than 5000 sq.ft with a seating capacity of 200 people at is open to till 1.30 in the midnight.

Sunil Shetty came in early to inaugurate the place and stayed for a long time to support his childhood friend Nickunj Shah.

Mana Shetty walked in with couple of pretty friends later and was seen relishing the food Isha Koppikar walked in with actor Inder Kumar and stuck with him throughout the evening (wonder what's cooking here) and was seen enjoying some lovely chicken tikkas. All in all it was a gastronomical experience for the starry guests!

Time to party!

Randhir Kapoor and Ashita Tham

Named after the noted Henry Tham, partner at Olive, the restaurant, Henry Tham at Colaba boasts of a Chinese menu with some strains of Japanese.

Set up in Jan 2005, this eatery is now one, and it was time to party.

Mumbai's celeb circuit came in by the dozen.

Henry and Ashita Tham played hosts to Randhir Kapoor, Sangeeta Bijlani and Mohammed Azharuddin, Suman Ranganathan, Shyla Lopez, Simone Singh with husband Farhad Samar.

What set this do apart was the great gourmet food and fine wine on offer.

A new bedding package making tall claims to rejuvenate one's senses and spine alike gets ready to attract customers who don't mind a big hole in their pockets, courtesy the Marriott group of hotels.

The first to pounce on the bouncy mattress turned out to be the playful Amrita Arora, who huddled comfortably only after being provided with loads of cushions and pillows.

We hear badi behen Malaika Arora Khan was to company her, but opted out owing to her son's ill-health. Smart move, we must say.

Amrita tried all her postures, however, she simply failed to find a warm corner. We know the reason—it was beau Usman Afzal who was missing from the scene. After all, you need your mate to keep you warm on the bed!

Dressing up John

Designer Narendra Kumar has styled the looks for John Abraham in the new Bombay Dyeing campaign.

The look can be termed retro mod. The jackets are slim cut worn with drainpipe trousers; tall collars and white cuffs complete the feel.

The new look for John covers the whole spectrum of looks for day, business, club and evening. John is the contemporary new dream lover for Bombay Dyeing.

Narendra is also designing for John in Ravi Chopra's film Babul.

On working with John
John was very open to suggestions, new ideas and experimented with the retro and mod look that the campaign had to offer.

Specific preparations
For each of the designs, the look created are urban, contemporary and mod in terms of style and clothing of 60s and 70s in UK. It is like returning to the mainstream English tailoring. The campaign brings in a new idea into men's wear. A fine sense of dressing up smartly for all occasions.

Future assignments
We shall present our collection at Igedo, a German based fair in February, which is a great opportunity to showcase our work worldwide. Furthermore, the Lakme India Fashion Week in March-April is awaited.

Ekta adopts a stray

For those who thought that Ekta Kapoor had a heart of steel, here's some food for thought.

A week ago, the queen of soaps decided to adopt a stray puppy from the animal shelter. "I have named him Pongal and he's very cute." Though some like bro Tusshar might not find him so.

He was heard saying, "He's messing up the drawing room," to which Ekta replied, "He's just a little puppy. He can't control these things." Tushki might profess to sound stern but he's as much an animal lover. Dad Jeentendra and he feed stray dogs regularly outside their Juhu home.
