Some people will pick on Aishwarya (Bachchan Bahu - Jealous much?) no matter what she does, if she cancels to accept the award then she is drama queen and fake but if she have accepted the award she would have been insensitive, what should she do to please all these people? they will pick on her no matter what she is doing/saying.

They are actors OF COURSE they will get some special treatment then a normal people, When Hollywood actors comes to India these Bollywood celebs throw parties and press conferences, haven't they seen white skin before? so all around the world, big name gets special treatment even if they demand it or not they will be treated bit differently. Its harsh truth but one should live with it.

True that!!

Let's image Aishwarya walked in with the regular devotees. There could have been havoc. OK! Let's forget the trouble Aishwarya will have to face. There could have been a stampede or anything fatal could have happened. Then these so called detractors would go like "OH! Could she not have come at a time when the crowd was less" or "She is a VIP, couldn't she take a VIP darshan, why come with the junta and then hinjure the other devotees" or if people would have tried to do something nasty to Ash, obviously her bodyguards would've resorted to "lathi charge" and then the problem would have been of a much higher level.

So whichever way she takes, some people will always have a problem. It's default. 😆

Seriously there is no perfect solution to this. But probably the easiest way was to have a quick darshan arranged for the star. Devotees would stand for hours. A few minutes would not make much of a difference compared to the havoc that could occur otherwise. This is not right. But this is the easiest way out, for everybody involved.

And it's funny some say things like "Bachchans released perfect pictures" etc. Well, when does she NOT look perfect. She didn't win the most photogenic woman title for nothing! 😃

Again - I don't have a problem with her getting a VIP darshan. I have a problem with them closing off the entire temple for her. That is rubbish. As far as why I have a problem with her getting more privileges than a Shankaracharya it is because it is a Hindu temple and in a Hindu temple- a Hindu religious leader should rank higher and get more privileges than a mere good looking actor - pregnant or otherwise. I have a problem with the camera because a Hindu religious leader was not allowed to carry one. I called her an opportunist because she took advantage of her father in laws contacts to get privileges that she would have no access to.

But where did you get this closing the temple bit from? The sanctorum has multiple doors. If one door is closed, it doesn't mean the entire temple is closed.

This is not a competition as to who gets more previleges. It is just to make sure the darshan goes smoothly for everyone. I've already explained the problems posed if she chooses to go along with the public.

Again this is not a competition between who gets to carry a camera and who doesn't. We have seen a lot of pictures from inside the sanctorum, I'm sure they've got the permission from the temple authorities.

Why would she need her F-I-L for this? She is a superstar herself, she already had the privileges. We've seen pics of so many stars from inside the temple. Did they all use her F-I-L's contacts?

Look, this is the last time I am going to post on this - its not worth my time. The reason I got the impression that the entire temple was closed off was because I saw nobody near the mouse and the mouse is outside the sanctum area.
