Good to see some people raising their voice against special treatment to the Bachchan bahu instead of oooing and aahing over the Bachchan bahu's glow. Some people have apparently never seen a pregnant woman glow this much. Apparently now bahurani has set new standards for glowing thru a well scripted publicity move.

Btw this isnt the first time the Bachchans are guilty of high and mighty behavior. They are habitual offenders. Check this link:

I don't blame her - she is just an opportunist. I blame the temple trustees and their screwed up value system that places corrupt politicians and film stars over religious heads. I do think it is inappropriate of her to release these personal pictures to the public. What should be a private moment of prayer is now a publicity stunt.

Ah well -who cares. I still think she is gorgeous and wish her the best for her baby.

fire_gun was right then; it was indeed the personal photographer of the "Royal Buttinskies" who took those perfect-angled photos.

I have no issues with them providing her with extra special protection or something given her celebrity status and her delicate condition. I just have issues with her being given privileges not given to religious leaders who definitely rank higher than her and during a peak period where any devotee ranks higher than her. I'd be fine with her going at 3 am on a non festival period and they held back the crowds while she prayed. No locked doors- nothing that the senior most religious leaders don't get.

Its like Madonna raking higher than the Pope... Beggars belief.

Your answer confuse me first you said people (aam janta) will get upset that Aishwarya is getting special treathment but then you say you say you understand it is for safety but it is just not fair for religious leaders 😕 I have no idea about why regious leaders aren't given the same privleges, but maybe because it is not needed at all. After all celebs sometimes need safety as everyone wants something from them. What is point to compare religious leaders with celebs and to rank them.

Like I said before we share a different view point it think it is better to care about safety of the public it self and the celebs. And this time Aishwarya is pregnant, she has a baby. A new life safety is more important at least for me. Everyone should get a chance to pray.

Either way,sensitivity and concern for people is something i stopped expecting from all celebrities long time back...

Looks like these pics are released by the Bachchans bcoz this is a closed door event and I am sure they would have control on who is taking the pics ... None of them look like candid pics taken by random people... All the pics have a perfectly posed Ash in perfect poses with a perfect smile with no baby bump showing in any of the pics... 😆

And... Yes...Ash does look gorgeous... Good luck with her pregnancy...

Lol so these pictures where released by Aishwarya herself oke thanks for sharing seems strange. So you think it is publicity stunt hmm for what? At least we are got to see Aishwarya. Most of the time she is in hiding 😃 I have no idea when she visit it, why the door where closed? So did she let a lot people wait for her in lines. So how long was she in the temple for hours! But if you say so? Then next time Aishwarya is pregnant she shouldn't go to pray in private because she hurting so many people lifes? 😃 And of course the mighty Bachchan Bahu is selfish for taking up this special threathment I agree if she hurt so many people and doesn't care for others next time just wait in line. So what about her safety and her baby?

Aishwarya went in the wee hours of Saturday, when the rush is really less, so I'm sure she didn't want to cause much inconvenience to people. And that she was arriving there was in the news at least a week before (http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2011-09-03/mumbai/30110010_1_pandals-turnout-visarjan), so OF COURSE there would be photographers!! She is India's most photographed woman after all! And she has made very few public appearances in the last few months. So obviously her appearance was much awaited!

This is not entirely right, but what is the solution? If stars start coming along with teh normal devotees, things like the following could happen and the point of the sacred place would've been long gone!!

Well, there will always be people who will raise their voice against the Bachchan Bahu. Even if she sneezes or giggles, people will have problems with her. 😛

But what about celebrities like these who even hold a music release function inside the temple sanctorum and then pose for pictures for the promotion of their film? And the movies are on the lines of All the best and Fashion, which are not even religious movies! Not even close. 😆
