Did they close all traffic just for her? That would be really out of the ordinary - considering it is Ganesh Chaturthi season and very crowded still. I have not seen them close the main doors for even the Shankaracharyas...this is really unprecedented.

I highly oppose any special treatment given to stars/politicians at religious places, because before god we are all equal, but I can understand a star being given a different treatment here. It is not necessarily because they are stars so they have to be treated specially, but image the havoc it would wreak if stars gets mixed up with people in the temple, obviously god will no longer be the centre of attraction. And this could cause stampedes, etc. So to prevent this, the normal darshan can be halted for a quick few minutes and let the star take the darshan and leave. This would make sure everything remains peaceful.

But the previous times Aishwarya visited the temple, the doors weren't closed, she visited along with the aam junta. (Tune to 3:00 here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qLco4su5w0). I think the special treatment is because she is heavily pregnant and is in a delicate state. So it is understandable. Even if people mind it for a star, they wouldn't mind it for a pregnant woman I guess.

I'm so lost right now...can't stop staring!!!😍😆

You're welcome Hetal 😊

I don't think the bed rest news bit is true though! If she were in that state, she would never come out in public. If she is making appearances, that means her health is doing well, which is great! And yeah her dad is out of danger now. It's always nice to see them all together!

true, the reason celebs have security and given special treatment is for the safety of every1. Ppl get crazy when they see any star, only a handful of them are sensible enough to ignore them. They start screaming, pushing, taking pics, asking autographs and wht not!

btw - ash looks good, yellow color suits her!

Like what you said before god we are all equal indeed. So stars shouldn't get any special threathment because that is not fair in the eyes of God. Didn't see it like that beforre. I don't know if it right or not right if stars get special threathment but I just don't see the problem if it happens sometimes. It is not forbidden. Because sometimes it is needed for safety for public and the stars, like you said. And the stars are made by the public themself.

yeh whenever i go to tirupati, my dad books the VIP darshan or something...its a special 1000 rupee worth ticket for VIPs and people who can afford it basically, and they get special treatment over say, the 30 ruppee ticket people or the free darshan people...we get to finish the darshan quicker and get to have special aarti n stuff with the idol, while the common people dont get such privilidges and have to wait in a long queue for 9-10 hours...

I really hate that idea though...why should ANYONE be treated more superiorly in such a spiritual/religious space? tht defies the whole purpose of it..

but i guess thts one way for them to manage, considering the magnitude of people tht turn up everyday to the temple...the crowd can get pretty wild sometimes.

yep...therz common darshan which is free...

therz quick darshan which is worth 100 rupees i think, and its releatively quicker than the common darshan.

break darshan which is worth 500 rupees or something where they break the common darshan line and allow those people to go first and get their darshan

therz VIP darshan which is the special darshan

therz the VVIP darshan which is even more special, and i think u get extra prasad/laddoos and everything...

tirupati is PACKED most of the times...like it takes a minimum of 8 hours of standing in the queue to get a glimpse of the idol...these special darshans are a way to please those impatient people who cant want that long...but i say,if u have come to see god, u have to give him ur full attention and commitment, not take shortcuts...

i find tht idea rather crooked, but i see that it gets very difficult for the temple authorities to manage the crowd...thus these distinctions...

^ I agree with that..

if you're coming to see God, then bear the pain of reaching the place.

Isn't that the point of all the mannat-waale vrats, and the point of how some people traverse barefoot to mandirs?
they're inflicting some sort of pain or discomfort upon themselves to prove that they're serious about their faith...

this is like cheating =/

and like someone else said.. I wish every pregnant woman was given such treatment 😆
