lol even angelina,Anne hataway,resse witherspoon got many negative reviews in there career.Does that makes them a nobody.And also why ur giving so much importance to an Art film like Miral.out of her 4 films 2(slumdog,apes) is a blockbuster,woody film is an avg grosser.An art film like Miral with controversial subject like Israel-palestine wouldn't have done even if it got great reviews.

haha so true applebossom.All those magazines has bigger readership than filmfare or even indiatoday.For example Interview magazine is read by more than 15 lakh ppl in America

ok so she has 3 lakh fans on facebook. 3 lakhs is too little for someone who is an international star. but freida is obviously not that, so 3 lakhs make sense. and why r u comparing shradha to her in fans? was shradha in an Oscar winning film? and even aish was voted as among the most beautiful women by several international magz. So does that make aish a big name in hollywood? NO. freida is even worse.

why do people take so much offense when some outsider says something that is true. e.g. our crabmentality. sonam btw has been screaming this forever but nobody really hates her for it. in fact i seen people agree with her lol. yes it is hard to swallow bitter truth about your own from someone else... but it doesn't change the fact that not many are impressed by freida pinto or her looks in desi land. but her charm and beauty is only understood by another group of people. different folks different strokes.

to be politically correct...the title of the article should have been why do majority of Indians not impressed by Freida Pinto. But that is not a title that would get attention LOL!

An average indian hardly knows hollywood stars, but the adore their khans and bachhans. same here, pinto is hollywood, people don't know about her.

I liked her before, i dont like her now, i will never like anyone who will go out of way to try and fit in by mocking and ridiculing their own motherland and country people , and own custom. So as some one who knows who freida pinto his, this is probably why i do not like her. This is strictly my opinion and any fan of her might quote and re quote and try to prove 20 million justification as to why i should like her, but it simply will not change my opinion unless i feel like.

@ OP, u might feel strongly for pinto and strongly against the fact that "Indians hate her", that doesnt give u the right to call a member troll and or accuse them for MID, thats against forum rules.
