Why do Indians hate Freida Pinto?

Yaar, most of the indian dont see beyond Khans and BW... No wonder not many is aware of who is Freida Pinto , another reason for me to watch Rise of the planet of the apes was her , and she was ok with the little time she had on screen...

Well , most of the indians are known for their hypocrate mentality , so famous for judging a book just by looking at cover 😆...

Like many said , ppl are simply Jealous of her and envy her for making into HW so easily...

She still have long way to go , if she would have done some BW movies , she might have got little importance as we have some actors and actress who cannot act but still are in business , one more wont harm... 😆

She is not a hopeless actress,for sure ...

i don't know about others but i don't finding anything extra-ordinary about her. Looks wise she is average and acting is below average.

I wanted to watch Slumdog just to see her performance - i had to wait till the very last 10 minutes to see her!! I was startled all this fame and recognition for a 10 minutes role which wasn't that great either!

In Planet of the apes - her character hardly had any significance. If they would have deleted her character absolutely no affect on the story. Her acting wasn't impressive.

Like some1 mentioned it's like Katrina's case she is famous by luck not by her talent!!!

However, i am still waiting for a film where she is proves herself as an actor and probably earn an academy nomination or award😊

I dont think Indians hate her either. She's there in Hollywood and earning good money, that's really good for her.
Everybody doesn't have to go ga-ga over her, media's always searching for universal praise for Freida. If she hasn't shown her best work, or people in India haven't heard of her, how will they rate her?

Having said that, I liked her and James Franco's pair in Apes, that movie was awesome, Andy Serkis was the bomb in that movie. She was barely there as eye-candy but hey she was in the movie. Good for her. But Im not gonna praise her because she didn't make much of an impact. and Im not gonna hate her either.
There's no envy, a bit of indifference and "look a cute pair" kind of reaction
