Can AISH really ACT or NOT?!! - Page 6

I think her best movies are with SLB. HDDCS was a memorable performance, I even liked Taal but besides that I never admired her for her acting. If she wanted she could have achieved alot if she had chosen right films & focussed on acting aspect, I wonder how did she manage to keep her popularity intact even after giving soo many flops.

Yes the cinematic adaptation did justice to the classic novel..I think i loved Tabu's character even more than book's Elinor 😆..She was so relatable and Tabu potrayal was fab fab!..i love watching tabu in south indian movies like kaala pani,kaathal desam..you would never feel she is acting,its like living the character ..yup loved the chemistry b/w the sisters! Ajith looked so handsome back in those days😳 ..only aspect that bored me was abbas-aish's track lol😆

Of course she can act but as some others are saying she tends to overact her part...I liked her in Devdas, HDDCS but I haven't seen Raincoat so I can't say anything but overall she's good. She was great in Jodhaa Akbar only watched it because of her not Hrithik.

i always find her better in her tamil movies...dunno...maybe its the fact that she emotes better there,or that someone else dubs her voice so the dialogue delivery is better...barring robot,ive liked her in all her tamil films...

her most natural performance to date IMO was Kandukondein kandukondein...maybe the sheer presnce of someone like Tabu in the film rubbed off good acting skills on her too..😆

apart from that,her hindi film outings range from above average,to mediocre, to unbearable...shes quite inconsistent acc to me...

You know acting is overrated. Most stars that we connect too on screen are solely based on if they are likeable. Not everyone likes a celeb just because they can act IMO. And that's where Aish fails...she is not very likable on screen..she is pretty...but she is too uptight and gives off a cold vibe. I don't think she overracts...she is just not natural in some of her movies. But I do thing she can act. smartie pants pretty much summed up what I feel about aish in all her post in this topic...I feel the same about Aish. She is a good actress but very limited. I do think other top actresses are better than her because not only can they act but they also very likeable on screen.

Aishwarya aunty is an absolute waste of time when it cums to acting. She is far worse than even Kat if you ask me. She and Abhi are in that way made for each other. Mrs and Mr. Non-Actors
