So I don't agree with the fact that kat acts with people who is successful at BO, because one ranbir never was succesful before APKGK, too imran is not a big star at BO etither, 3 Neil had no hits before NY plus John only had dostana, 4 if kat only does movies with actors who is succesfull at BO then why on earth did she just sign 2 movies opposite akki, who is one of the most flop actors now, so this excuse that she signs movies with only succesful actors at BO is not true.

She is the Queen bee no doubt. And naysayers have been saying "she is nearing a fall" for the last 4 years. Kat is my girl...and I don't give a crap either whether or not she can act...she is so endearing and real...and most important of all...she really tries hard to please her fans..
she recently said in an interview that she always listen to what her fans want...she takes their concerns at heart...and she does her best to apply them.
And you know she's being honest because she's a cancer...they are very sensitive...yet hardworking.
She knows people say that she cannot act and I'm sure that she's doing her best to improve.

Her hindi has already improved so much it is mindblowing.
All those people who criticize her hindi accent...how many of you have been living outside of India...let say in the US...for the last 5 years and who speak flawless english without an accent?...I bet not many.
Anyway, I love Kat and she's just getting started in her fame and popularity.
Robert De Niro is one the greatest actors the world has ever seen...but he's certainly not the most popular...
I wish people will understand that acting and popularity are two different criterion that attract people in the theater... and the two do not necessarily go hand in hand...

what acting was in those movies? Salman can't act for his life...yet those 2 movies are blockbuster.

if all everyone needed was "SOLID acting", then nandita das, koko,tabu, irrfan and nassiruddin shah would be the superstars and would be getting paid more than priyaka, kareena, srk and hrithik...

clearly thts not the case..., to rake in the moolah, u need a grip on the masses...and that is achieved through sheer charisma and entertainment value...its whts called "holding court" and it involves much more than merely emoting on screen...u've got to establish a connect...

and as far as i can see, kat is doing that brilliantly...when shes on that screen, ppl watch...lemme rephrase that...when shes onscreen,ppl ogle...now that maybe coz of her looks, her body whatever...but truth is, shes doing something right which others arent which is why she is at the top of her game today..

Aamir, SRK and Salman, all can give hits without any female stars and with new comers, can Katrina do that?, it waits to be seen.

Namastey London had Akshay Kumar in it. He had prior succeses at the BO with phir hera pheri, waqt, etc.. Katrina hardly had any BO standing when Namastey London released. Her only hit was maine pyar kyun kiya prior to this.

I disagree about APKGK being a success only because of Katrina, it was both Katrina and Ranbir who made the film a success. I know Ranbir didn't have much luck at the box office before this but that doesn't mean he wasn't popular, he does have a fan following and his pairing with Katrina is liked.

Hoe could I have missed this thread lol. Ranbir is no way a top actor. Ajab si was success only because Katrina was in it, because she was giving hits prior, he on the other hand was barely surviving. In Rajneeti there was a starcast, but it was Katrina's 20 second speech that was highlighted. Since than Ranbir's movies again are nothing praiseworthy. Anyhow, don't like him nor his acting. Hoping what I read is true and that deepika is working in aryan;s next
