Actor Ranveer Singh owes his all to Aditya Chopra

Ranveer Singh says it like it is. Call it his arrogance or just his naivety...Ranveer is frank and doesn't shy away from speaking his mind.

Interestingly, if many believe it is the super success of his debut film that has upped his confidence, that's not the case!

We remember talking to the vivacious newcomer, even before the release of his film. We had asked if competing with other newcomers like Vivek Oberoi's cousin Akshay Oberoi who too was to make a debut in Rajshri banner at the same time that Band Baaja Baaraat was to release made him nervous? Akshay was backed by Salman Khan too!

Ranveer had then said, "Akshay looks like a talented kid and I have the most powerful man in the industry backing me (referring to Aditya Chopra)."

Now Ranveer did prove his confidence in his abilities wasn't overrated as he is a fine actor indeed.
