Why is Kareena left out in the cold? - Page 5

While Kareena is a good actress, she has a lot further to go, to be recognized as a great actress . Her acting in JWM was praiseworthy but not that great to deserve a National Award.


Second : Except National Awards none of the others have any merit. Every year new categories are added into awards so that none of the favorites loose out .


Third: Kareena's role in Chameli was measured to Tabu's role in Chandni Bar and unfortunately Kareena couldn't live up to that comparison.

Those who have won unfair in past had someone special in jury. Kareena might need some one there or a really good movie:))

I heard Saif mom was the jury when he won! how can he even be proud and take the award when his mom was the judge? I also heard Madhur's friend was the jury when Fashion was nominated. I find it fishy that both of the actress won that year. When did that ever happen?

That's false. How do you explain Priyanka winning it for Fashion then. It wasn't anymore meaningful than JWM. Chameli is another over-rated performance of Kareena. The only thing working for her as a prostitute was her loud makeup and attire. She had no vulnerability in her performance.

PC does a Fashion and gets it, Koko does a Omkara and gets but KK does not. I don't think the NA are any more or less rigged than the other awards, but I also think there's a reason why KK is ignored.

Dexter u made a great point about kareena having everyone in her pockets...but are the jury people the ones she has in her pockets? No...the jury is not SRK or Amir or Karan Johar. Wait am not sure about karan johar...has he ever been a the jury at NA?

Another actor I find it fishy that none of his films or roles win a NA, is Amir khan. He def doesn't have a lot of ppl in his pockets like SRk...(that's why SRK wins most of the awards at filmfare ect)...but Amir...No NA..why? He does interesting roles all the time.. 3I, TZP, ect..

Tabu was AWESOME in Maachis ...

kareena was good in JWM but not worthy for NA ...all this NA rigged thingy started bcz of Saif uncle who won for hum tum and anil and raveena who won for pukar and daman ...rest mostly Deserving ppl win ... specially frm main stream movies like Ajay ( two awards for Bhagat singh and Zakham ) and as per me he also deserved for Omkara , Sunny for Ghayal and Damini and Tabu for Chandani bar and Maachis, all well well deserving ...and these Hum Tums , Pukars performances were Nothing in front of these movie's performances

And the thing I don't like about Aamir is he finds Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan very classy and filmfare awards trashy.
