@Beboholic: No 😆😆 I watched enough number of films that I can say that she is a great actress. But I guess I wasn't being clear enough. You said she may not be able to do a JWM, I gave that as an example to show that she can do fun roles too like Geet. 😆

the only problem is her glamorous image. She knows that people will be like 'whaa' seeing her in a role like Konkona's in 15 Park Avenue or something.

That's why, IMO, there were still some bits of glamour in her Chameli and Omkara roles

I think this image conservation problem runs rabidly in Bollywood, I never thought about it before but it really must be a toughie

She is def insecure too. That's why she was so arrogant in the beg of her career. Now she cooled down..but little arrogance kicks in once in a while lol.

Maybe the year that she did a JWM or Chameli... someone from another industry pulled off a much more award-worthy role? Maybe the year Arjun won, he only won because no other actor that year did even mediocre? I am not going to go research to see if what I am saying is true but it could possibly be.

^ i guess it was the guys. I can care less if she is looking glam and hot! Thats all she was in KI. Seriously though, I have seen bebo fans on twitter saying they liked bebo in KI. No judging. I hope they are not reading this!

National awards consider all movies released in different languages , so they might have being a better actor than her who won ...

why should the younger actresses be exempt from such comparisons? IF they're willing to play the main field, they should be compared with.

and it should be an HONOR for them!

If someone compared me with Tabu, I think I'd retire right then and there 😆, not that I know how to act though, but still. LOL
