Why is Kareena left out in the cold? - Page 9

Not everyone is a loser when there favorite doesn't win. There are people who think others deserve it more than their favorite when they really actually do. I thought Konkena deserved her award for Omkara, even though kareena didn't get it. I didn't go around saying Konkena had ppl there that's why she won. I believe konkena is a great actress and she deserves. And If I don't think others don't deserve it like Priyanka and Arjun and Saif...than am gonna say it. Call me a loser, a hypocrite, bias...whatever u want. I don't care. I know the loser comment wasn't meant for me...am just saying in general.

If I cray all the time when my favorite doesn't win...I would have cried this year that kareena didn't win for We are Family and G3. But since I knew she had competition and there were others better than her...I started rooting for Anuska..which I believed did much better than what kareena did in G3 and WAF.

But what smartie pants said makes sense..since we don't know who saif's and priaynaka's and arjun's competition were at that year...we can say they don't deserve it. But we can still say it wasn't a NA worthy performance...which is what I thought about these 3 performances. But Saif deserves it for Omkara. I didn't see Saif in that film, but I saw Langda Tyagi in Saif's performance.

People keep bringing in how Saif won it for Hum Tum

Who cares, aj nahin to kal she'll win and even if she doesnt, there are many great actors who havent won a NA yet.

^ but that's the problem...the winners are not always the ones who do extraordinary performance.

I guess that's why Dexter is asking...if saif (even if his mom was there lol) and arjun and pc and kangana win...than why not kareena?

Even Karishma won for DTPH. She was awesome, but not extraordinary.

Well WHY is that? Tabu is, in my honest opinion, one of the best actresses Bollywood has ever got to get its hands on, and I feel that she rightfully deserves National Awards. THAT is the kind of calibre that NA's should be awarding

so why NOT compare Kareena? Why should things be made easier for her, or any other actress, just because it is assumed that they'll never be as good as Tabu?

Maybe the person who said it means that Tabu is not a commercial actress so it's unfair to compare her with kareena who is commerical actress. It's like comparing kat with tabu.

I think the general consensus here is that Kareena is not a "Great" actress and none of her performances have been so great that she absolutely deserved one.

why should the younger actresses be exempt from such comparisons? IF they're willing to play the main field, they should be compared with.

and it should be an HONOR for them!

If someone compared me with Tabu, I think I'd retire right then and there 😆, not that I know how to act though, but still. LOL

But that's you right. Someone like melonie and me, Tabu is not that great of an actress. So being compared to Tabu might not mean nothing to us! When I think of comparison...ppl never compare tabu and kareena or pc and tabu...that's because Tabu is a not a commercial actress. She always does these hard hitting roles. She should be perfect at it by now...she does so many. That's just a joke...not taking anything from Tabu's talent! 😆
