No, am not saying she doesn't matter. She def matters. She wins all these NA, there must have been something people see in her. But Tabu is not a complete actress, she can do hard hitting roles...but can she do JWM?

Am not saying Tabu can't do JWM. Or bubbly roles where she has to be really loud and funny. But she never tries those roles, so it makes me think...maybe she is not comfortable in those roles because she knows its going to be hard for her to pull off. Am sure the reason kareena stays away from films like Chameli is because it's hard for her to do than a role like JWM. She said so herself...that her tough role ever was Chameli even to this day. Me thinks bebo is lazy and doesn't want to challenge herself.

Ofcourse Deniro is not a complete actor because even though he can do Taxi Driver can he do Captain Sparrow in POTC. Bad actor.

Or Nana Patekar, never mind his Krantiveer, can he do Raj in DDLJ.Bad Actor.

Or Sunny Deol, he was good in Ghayal and Damini, but he can never do Govinda's Raja Babu. Bad Actor again.

You know, I do think Kareena's abilities as an actress have been exaggerated, especially recently simply because there are only a dearth of actresses to choose from. Yes, she can truly act, but the reason why she's considered so 'great' is because her contemporaries are pretty bad in the same trade by comparison...She has a lot of mediocre roles with plenty of over-acting that can't be slipped under the carpet because she has done a Chameli, JWM, and Omkara (did I get them all?😉)...But overall, I like her since she has that drive to keep moving her career forward

As to why she hasn't won a NA, it's probably because they just don't want to give it to a Kapoor girl😲...I would think the older generation may have killed it for her😆😆

haha well I wouldn't call Bebo lazy, but she's just insecure.

Still, I mean, I think she's capable of doing hard-hitting stuff

the only problem is her glamorous image. She knows that people will be like 'whaa' seeing her in a role like Konkona's in 15 Park Avenue or something.

That's why, IMO, there were still some bits of glamour in her Chameli and Omkara roles

I think this image conservation problem runs rabidly in Bollywood, I never thought about it before but it really must be a toughie
