well I'll address the direct reply to me...well it certainly was one of the reasons..cz i cant remember his that specific race scene with bipasha now..so can't comment n it..
but i'm not a trying to be a prude cz other 2 movies salaam namaste n parineeta not only made me not feel bad about the intimate scenes i actually enjoyed saif in them too. so for me that wasn't the only reason for disliking the movie..btw correct me if i am wrong..but as far as i can remember neither of those previous movies were marketed mainly on the lead stars shedding their clothes as far as i can remember..
so i think saif let his acting talk in those movies n where in kurbaan _____..anyway it is my personal opinion..
i hated the movie plain n simple ..n saif in it too..(not the character)

and i do agree with ur other 3 movies cz Omkara, Ek Hasina Thi,Parineeta were his best 3 performances even according to me..they were movies that made me proud to say i AM A SAIF FAN while for Kurban i was feeling so bad as i was watching it with my cousin sis who already disliked saif..n i had nothing good to say to defend him when we watched it at a sleepover which was a 1st for me!

btw i think people always forget that not just being serious(sad/intense blah blah blah) is good acting. what Saifu did in DCH is something i don't think any actor can ever pull off other than just him!
so i think in my list i'll rank it as his 4th best performance instead of Kurban which for me did equal the gutter!

i think u dislike saif now because he is dating kareena if i am not wrong ...

Haha, yeah I get the same feeling leo. A lot of Rani adn Preity fans are "disappointed" that he's dating Kareena 😆 And india forums isnt the first place I've noticed that.

In KHNH he was the ONLY saving grace for me...otherwise both SRK and Preity hammed their way through, giving me a severe headache...😵

I consider him as one of the sincere actors and he never disappointed me in any of the movies that I watched of him...

I don't know...I never thought of him as a superstar...It's obvious SRK and Salman and Amir are bigger than him. But he is def the best of all the khans in terms of acting. He tried many genres and excels in almost all of them. Saif's peformance in Omkara I think deserves a National Award. I don't think any Khan delivered a great performance like Saif did in Omkara throughout their career.

What saif lacks is charisma and screen presence on screen. He def has some screen presence and charisma, but not as much as SRk or Salman. I feel more people relate to srk and sallu on screen than Saif.

Films where Saif usually shows great sceen presence is in films where he plays a confused lover/commerical films like Hum Tum ect. But when it comes to films like Kurbaan, where he suppose to give a subtle performance...he lacks charisma. I was disappointed with his Kurbaan perfomance because he was boring. There are actors who are skilled to bring a boring character to life. Saif is a talented actor, but he fails here.

I do fell though Saif has made a name for himself now. Like most people mentioned, he use to play second fiddle to big stars..but now his solo films can be hits too...example being Race, Hum Tum, most of his films with rani and preity are hits, LAK ect.
